Consistently awesome food and drinks! This place is a chain, but theres not many around, so I love to take family here. Servers always friendly, and the atmosphere isn't stuffy.

Service and food are always excellent at this restaurant. We have our favorite server, Michael K. We have tried the seafood and steak dishes, never disappointed. Last week, I had the Spicy seafood hot pot, excellent dish, if you like brothy and spicy food. My husband had the Lobster pot pie, a hearty dish with a lot of lobster. It... More

My family took me there for my birthday. Made reservations through Open Table. When we arrived, they had sparkling confetti on the table for the celebration. We were all treated wonderful by the wait staff and birthday acknowledged several times, including a greeting in my menu. Included nice birthday dessert for free. Food was good and white rice pattie type... More

Roy's is always a great stop for a special occasion or nice evening out. The service is great and the food is unique and tasty. Their signature Hawaiian and 1988 beverages are incredibly good, try them both! We got a variety of foods: crab cake, Ebi sushi roll, lobster potstickers, vegetable tempura and a ceviche. The crab cake was great,... More

First off the great reviews for this place are not what I received. The sushi was probably the worst I've ever had. The crab salad roll literally tasted like Chicken of the sea tuna! The roasted macadamia mahi was below average with hints of being over cooked. The asparagus were hard as rocks and the only thing I enjoyes was... More

This place is really great for a special occassion. It will not be cheap, but most good restaurants aren't and they don't give you half as much attention to detail as this one. I made our reservation online and mentioned that it was for my husbands birthday. SO, upon arrival at our table, there was some decorative confetti on the... More

When you first go it you must order their chocolate Lava cake, they bake it while you are having dinner. The service was first class all the way....probably the best I have seen in awhile. The wine list was impressive and the food was absolutely fabulous ..The cake after dinner with a glass of wine was so so good.

The food was absolutely fabulous and our waitress Jennifer knew the menu inside and out and we went with her recommendations on menu selections as well as wine selection and we were all very, very pleased with the meal. We all agreed that we would go back to this restaurant upon our next visit to Tampa! It's a must.

We have been going to Hawaii annually for the past 24 years and I feel like I've been a patron of Roy's for almost as long. We have been to Roy's on Maui, Kauai, the Big Island, and Oahu as well as Seattle, San Fransisco, Las Vegas, and four locations in Florida. I have never been disappointed in my food until... More

Judging by the many great reviews on this site, I want to say in fairness that I must have hit Roy's on an off night. The menu is quite interesting, and the appetizers were terrific. Unfortunately the service was just not that attentive from the server. Busboys yes, not so much the server. I had the Roy's Trio of salmon,... More
