Dinner with friends to celebrate birthdays and Christmas. Inside each of our menus was a personalized congratulatory note on the birthday celebration. Unsolicited, they also took our picture and provided a framed print to help us remember our time - they even provided a second framed print when we asked for one. Each of our dinners were excellent and the... More

We were in Tampa and were celebrating our 30th anniversary. Based on the reviews which said that they help to make your occasion special, I made a reservation. I had read that they give you a complimentary appetizer and or dessert as well as a special message on your menu. Upon arriving, there was heart-shaped confetti on the table and... More

My husband and I visited Roys on a Thursday night, 6pm reservations. They offer complimentary valet parking but it wasnt busy so we parked ourselves. It is an upscale place, cloth napkins, pull out chairs and place napkins in your lap, etc. We california rolls, lobster pot stickers, and split a fish trio. I am 1/2 japanese so I may... More

I had the Lobster Pot Stickers, Halibut steak over fresh Spätzle with veggies and Chocolate souffle. The food was fantastic. The service was friendly and superb. Great wine list. My plates looked like they had been through the dishwasher when I was finished. You must try Roy's when you are in this area of Tampa. I highly recommend Roy's and... More

Roy's in Tampa has great food and terrific service. I was there alone and it was very busy but the bartenders took care if me like royalty. I noticed they did that for everyone. The tempura was best u have ever had. Light and fresh not that breaded mess you might imagine. Butterfish was out of this world as was... More

We have dined at the San Diego, CA version of this celebrity chef's restaurant and enjoyed the excellent cuisine. We were not that hungry last night and decided to just get the "Canoe for Two", their appetiser sampler, a Lakanilau Roll and a piece of the hot Pineapple Cake. The cake was great. The roll was probably properly prepared, but... More

Went to Roy's with family this evening and they will NOT be seeing more of my business. The fusion that I saw was a combination of overpricing and mediocre food. The ambiance is somewhat like either a Carraba's or Outback, both of which I enjoy and are owned by the same company. Starting out, the cocktails were high in price... More
