I had dessert here after dining at Bern's, it's certainly a "must" if you have never experienced it before. Granted, prices are not cheap! But if you are looking for a finisher on a great dining experience downstairs at Bern's, then come on up to the dessert area and enjoy something from the fabulous menu and assortment of treats! My husband and I chose to celebrate our 1st anniversary here last weekend. We are foodies and were drawn here by the unique desserts on the menu. We had a spectacular meal at Bern's. This was an experience unlike any other. This 2nd floor dessert restaurant has the ambience of an old world wine cellar. The tables aren't merely tables but intimate rooms each with their own intercom and music selector. We have gone to Berns over the years for special events and went New Years Day for a treat. We were told one dessert took long prep time so we ordered simpler items. 45 minutes later our cakes had not arrived and the explanation was they were busy and had no idea how long it would take. If you want an upscale, intimate place for a date or small close gathering, there is no place better. The Dinner downstairs and the desert room upstairs are beyond compare. If you want to make a lasting memory, this is the place. more
