Like eating in momma's kitchen in Italy

This very unassuming restaurant in a small shopping center in south Tampa, always turns out amazing food. It is small but intimate. There are daily specials and then the regular menu items. I love the way the way they prepare seafood - whether the fish special or mussels. One of my all time... read more

We waited two hours in a little wine bar two doors down from this restaurant and were finally seated at around 9 p.m. (the wine bar was excellent--great, friendly service, excellent wines, and delicious food to snack on--try the the pate). The restaurant calls the wine bar when your table is ready. The wait was worth it: this was among... More

Had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant NYE. Staff very efficient. Owner may seem to be over bearing and talks super fast about menu, but food was very good. I had Chicken Parmasean....the chicken was a bit tough and not too much flavor....they did not bread the chicken first. The pasta is the best!! You can tell by the sauce.... More

This is a small restaurant, which does not take reservations. When they seat you, they serve warm bread and an olive tapenade which was wonderful. We had a pasta appetizer, the restaurant has fabulous house made pasta. For entree, I had a special with shrimp and smoked salmon in an alfredo sauce over penne pasta. My husband had steak, which... Omg, food and service was out of this world. Home made pasta, they will make any Italian dish you want. Recommend you give them a try. You will never be able to get this freshness and taste at olive garden. Of course the cost is higher, but worth it.

My wife and I slipped in to this place for a late dinner Thursday night and it was still crowded, which is a good indication. It's a small place with maybe a dozen or so tables. Quite quaint. Seated in the back and I wondered if we got lost. Finally placed our order, two lasagnas and a couple glasses of... More

Small intimate restaurant that is very service oriented. They have great food, reasonable prices and they really want to make sure that you have a good meal and get just what you want. Pasta was excellent. Very authentic.

The food is good. We ordered Lasagne, it was made with veal this day. I burped garlic for hours, but still liked it. A soup that is like chinese Egg Drop soup but with spinach, was $9.00, and the Lasagne with a salad was $17.00. I asked the owner about the soup price and he defended it. In my opinion... More

Quaint authentic Italian restaurant with excellent food. The wife and I started with two appetizers - a stuffed sacchettini pasta special and the polenta with seafood ragu. Both were delicious, but the pasta especially so. For entrees, we had the Osso Bucco and the lasagna of the day with a large meat filled tortellini. Amazing! I wanted pasta and couldn't... More

Authentic Italian food. Fresh homemade pasta. Menu on the smaller side but if you cant find what you want on the menu, they will make it for you. I love that. The food is delish! They dont take reservations so be prepared to get there early, before 7, or have a glass of wine outside while you wait. Its worth... More
