Excellent Fare with Outdoor Dining! The color and design stand out as you drive by with its rich, brown color and outdoor terrace. My group was seated outside on a beautiful Tampa evening and we had plenty of room despite a full house. Service was attentive and helpful without being intrusive. Warm bread and butter are set out before the... More

I have been to Ella's three times while visiting my son and his family. I have enjoyed every meal, even with two little ones in tow. The fried green tomatoes are delicious; even my 20 month old granddaughter liked them.. On my last visit I had The Wino, a huge burger topped with Gorgonzola and Bacon Apple Jam. I could... More

Was in Tampa with daughter for weekend. Went to Ella's for dinner on a Saturday evening. Popular place, was already full even though it was 5:30. Luckily, got seats at the bar. Ella's has a good food menu, with a really interesting drink menu. Enjoyed our food and drinks and the character of the restaurant. Would return again if in... More

We have heard about Ella's from a number of people so we tried it out. It is a very good value. The meatloaf is very good. The butter that came with the bread after we placed our order was terrific, the flavor was very delicate. The salad was huge.Service was very friendly but hard to find at points in the... More

After diplomatically complaining about the hour wait for our food, the server, Paul Lee literally became abusive and "attacked" friend by getting up in her face, clapping his hands and then pointing his finger in her face and loudly saying "do you really want to go there lady" (said several times) and then told us to get the hell out!This... It's not the food or the neighborhood (which is sketchy)..it's the horrific staff. This morning, my friends and I decided to treat our children to brunch. We were among the first in the door and, while our party wasn't complete, we shared we would be expecting three more. The reaction to this was instantly aggressive and hostile. We shared our... More

What a way to start Sunday. I don't usually like Bloody Mary's but this was fantastic. Be sure to get it with a rib. After that our party ordered BBQ, waffles and I had the catfish. I'm kinda picky about fish and this was perfectly fried. Light batter and moist flaky fish inside. The atmosphere was eclectic and fun. Next... More

Hidden gem! Wow simply wow! Best blood Mary I have had yet! Highly recommend checking this place out for brunch on Sundays! The BBQ is sweet, spicy, and delish. While the chicken and waffles are moist and crispy! Looking forward to dinning here again next time I'm in Tampa!

We have been coming here for several years now, and are never disappointed. Some how, we always seem to come on a Sunday, so we experience the special menu. Out of town friends and family ask to go back here, and we alway say yes! Every item we have ordered has been good, as are the drinks! The Bloody Mary... More

Very good place with great atmosphere and good food! Outside deck is a hipe! Very good for beer and happy-hours. Staff is experienced and efficient, however parking is a challenge!
