I ate here a while back and had a long wait as well. It took a long time to be seated. The food was good, but my dish was supposed to come with fried green tomatoes. Being from the South, I was excited to see them on the menu. When the order came, they were tomatoes, but were not even... More

After diplomatically complaining about the hour wait for our food, the server, Paul Lee literally became abusive and "attacked" friend by getting up in her face, clapping his hands and then pointing his finger in her face and loudly saying "do you really want to go there lady" (said several times) and then told us to get the hell out!This... What a way to start Sunday. I don't usually like Bloody Mary's but this was fantastic. Be sure to get it with a rib. After that our party ordered BBQ, waffles and I had the catfish. I'm kinda picky about fish and this was perfectly fried. Light batter and moist flaky fish inside. The atmosphere was eclectic and fun. Next... More

Hidden gem! Wow simply wow! Best blood Mary I have had yet! Highly recommend checking this place out for brunch on Sundays! The BBQ is sweet, spicy, and delish. While the chicken and waffles are moist and crispy! Looking forward to dinning here again next time I'm in Tampa!

We have been coming here for several years now, and are never disappointed. Some how, we always seem to come on a Sunday, so we experience the special menu. Out of town friends and family ask to go back here, and we alway say yes! Every item we have ordered has been good, as are the drinks! The Bloody Mary... More

Very good place with great atmosphere and good food! Outside deck is a hipe! Very good for beer and happy-hours. Staff is experienced and efficient, however parking is a challenge!

This is a very interesting restaurant with interesting decor in what looks like an old house. We were with a group and tried several appetizers...all very good. I just had a salad which was good but the dinners others ordered all looked delicious. We also tried the chocolate covered bacon and how can you not like chocolate covered bacon!, The... More

I had heard tons of good things about the place so tried it for dinner. No doubt place is quirky and cool. Atmosphere was unique (Ina good way). Sadly the food was sub par in my opinion. Burger special sounded fantastic but the bun and patty was not fantastic quality. The presentation and menu is well done but the actual... More

We have found another favorite place to add to our list. We had heard many good things about Ella's over the years and decided to finally give it a try. It is fabulous! The décor is Intriguing- a funky retro. The staff is friendly and the food is AMAZING! We hand the Chicken Mole over Cornbread Arepa, YUM!! I like... More

We ate at Ella's with our monthly Supper Club tonight. Living & working in the Tampa Bay Area for over 18 years, we were shocked that we have never heard of this hidden treasure! Love the patio area, landscaping, feel of the place...not to mention the generous portion sizes for the price. Very reasonable. The band was great. The volume... More
