Sunday Brunch go early!

We had company in town and we were trying some new brew pubs in the Seminole Heights area and decided to eat at Ella’s. It was later Sunday evening and was a bit surprised that the Sunday Brunch menu was all day long. By the time we got seated over half the menu was no longer available because they... read more

Took some out of town guests over for something different. Fail. They do a "Soul food Sunday", I'd suggest they change this to "Slow as Sh Sunday". To make a long story short, it took 4 hours from start to finish. We waited forever to get in and then another hot minute to get the food which was then cold.... More

What a great experience. Definitely worth the wait. From the hostesses to the waitress Marie we had an all around amazing experience. Marie started off with some amazing recommendations and her knowledge of specials was spot on. Never had to ask for a thing. Made us feel at home. Can't wait to return and ask for Marie. She told us... More

If you are expecting the typical (northern) Sunday Brunch fare of various eggs, pancakes, omelettes etc. you may want to go elsewhere. However, if you are up for something different and delicious, give Sunday Brunch a shot. The bloody Mary is a meal in itself, including the rib on top. The drink itself could have used a bit more spice... More

Come here for the atmosphere.. The food is best on Sunday for ribs and music. The music starts around 4:30, so get there early to get a seat. The place is packed.

This place is unique and very delicious! The food is truly delicately prepared to your liking. The sauces dance on your taste buds and eclectic! I would come back here whenever possible. Not a long wait. Many options on drinks as well (full bar).

Took family of eight to Ella's Art Cafe for youngest daughter's 31st birthday as it is near her home in the reviving Seminole Heights neighborhood north of Tampa's downtown. Eclectic menu is matched and complemented by the eclectic clientele, mostly a 30 something crowd. Food is quite good and atmosphere is worth sampling for those of us of a certain... More

Gluten free, vegan and BBQ a real mix of food and people. A must visit in Tampa for a southern style treat. Live music weekends.

I'm glad Tampa finally has a restaurant with unique flair and good food! I live in nyc now but upon my recent visit to Tampa I stopped in Ella's with a few friends for dinner. The wait was very long and there wasn't any area for us to, well, wait. Because it was chilly out we had to wait inside... More

I came here because a ton of my friends were raving about it. I went for the Sunday brunch and as expected the wait was long. Once seated and the food came. I thought it was just okay, nothing special but okay. The chicken was over fried and bland. I may try it again but it was nothing too be... More
