Very good place with great atmosphere and good food! Outside deck is a hipe! Very good for beer and happy-hours. Staff is experienced and efficient, however parking is a challenge!

This is a very interesting restaurant with interesting decor in what looks like an old house. We were with a group and tried several appetizers...all very good. I just had a salad which was good but the dinners others ordered all looked delicious. We also tried the chocolate covered bacon and how can you not like chocolate covered bacon!, The... More

I had heard tons of good things about the place so tried it for dinner. No doubt place is quirky and cool. Atmosphere was unique (Ina good way). Sadly the food was sub par in my opinion. Burger special sounded fantastic but the bun and patty was not fantastic quality. The presentation and menu is well done but the actual... More

We have found another favorite place to add to our list. We had heard many good things about Ella's over the years and decided to finally give it a try. It is fabulous! The décor is Intriguing- a funky retro. The staff is friendly and the food is AMAZING! We hand the Chicken Mole over Cornbread Arepa, YUM!! I like... More

We ate at Ella's with our monthly Supper Club tonight. Living & working in the Tampa Bay Area for over 18 years, we were shocked that we have never heard of this hidden treasure! Love the patio area, landscaping, feel of the place...not to mention the generous portion sizes for the price. Very reasonable. The band was great. The volume... More

Outstanding place to eat, don't let the area discourage you. Awesome meatloaf and great oyster appetizer. Just wish it was a little bigger, as there seems to always be a wait on weekends... But they also have a nice out door sitting/ eating area too!

How can you beat a Bloody Mary served with a nicely seasoned pork rib as garnish? You can't. Arguably the best Bloody Mary I've ever had. Nicely sized mimosas as well. I'm also a big fan of biscuits and gravy. Ella's has an interesting take on this classic breakfast dish. Rather than rely on the tried and true white sausage... More

Okay. I'll try some other time. So we did. Everyone raves about Ella's. It really must be good. We met friends for lunch. It's a very small place and It was major crowded. Everyone yells over each other. After an extended wait we questioned how much longer it might be. They were very nice as well as sympathetic. So they... More

I had the kc style ribs and brisket and both were fantastic. My daughter had a salad with salmon also very good. My wife had the fried catfish with collards. All hit the mark. Nice beverage selection and I'll say right now the BEST mac and cheese I've ever had. The bbq and soul food is only served on Sundays... More
