We love Indian food and were rather disappointed by this restaurant. It's a very large place but we were the only customers present. We were told most people come at s later hour. The food served was ok but not more than that. The Pakora was greasy. The rest not very savory. All kinds of special deals are offered at... More

This place was a jewel in the rough. My friend and I discovered it at the St. Pete Curry Festival last month, and decided to try it for their Sunday lunch buffet. Wow. I've been to many Indian restaurants in my life, and this was the first that really seemed to be run by Indians, for Indians and not for... More

Went for a lunch buffet and was delightfully surprised with the huge variety. The Mango Lassi, Masala Tea were alo included in the buffet along with Ice cream and this just made the entire deal even better. The Hot dosas were flowing in as we kept asking for more. The Sambar was piping hot temperature wise and also spicy enough... More

I spotted a nice deal on Groupon ($20 for $40) for this restaurant and decided to give it a try. Long story short, the food and service were mediocre. After ordering appetizers and entrees, the waiter brought out cold samosas and when he brought out the entrees didn't bring rice (We had to ask for it!). In spite of this,... More

As lovers of Indian food, our family came to Mayuri expecting an enjoyable dinner. We were disappointed from the moment we arrived. Dark, unappealing room with none of the usual ambiance found in Indian restaurants. The dishes and cutlery were not clean, a request for a clean glass resulted in the waiter looking at glasses on nearby tables, all of... More

I came here for lunch with my husband. This was my second time eating here. Nothing that was on the buffet was actually "hot" temperature wise. I bit into my tandoori chicken and it was ice cold. Everything I ate was bland and tasted like it was reheated. That led me to believe that the food they were serving was... More

Its one of the worst restaurant I have ever been. There was a huge crowd due to some function and nobody took care of regular customers. No cutlery available and we ran around for everything. At last some one came and asked what do we want. Remembering we came for buffet and some one asked what do we want was... More

My husband and I stopped in, last minute, for a late lunch. We ate off of the buffet which is generally toned down in flavor, but not here! The food was wonderful and very flavorful. Can't wait to go back to try their dinner menu, I bet it's truly awesome. Definitely a diamond in the rough!

I have never eat horrible Indian food ever. Service was poor and very much unprofessional stuff. Food was cold like anything. I will never come back.
