Went to try the seafood paella and enjoyed a flavorful and adventuresome dinner on the outdoor patio at the Iberia-inspired Vizcaya restaurant in Tampa. We sipped their wonderfully refreshing Sangria as we perused the tapas menu, assisted by our very friendly server, Tara. The menu choices were a feast for the imagination! We finally selected 1) pulpo (baked octopus), very... More

After living in Carrollwood for 15 years and passing by the Vizcaya restaurant several times a week, my wife and I decided to try it even though we do not especially like Spanish food. After discussing leaving after we walked in (the lounge was very noisy and not impressive - which is what you see when you walk in), we... More

I went for my Birthday with a friend. This was my first time and It was a delightful experience. Enjoyed the date tapa and the seafood paella was amazing. The giant shrimp and scallops were tasty. The sangria was perfect not too sweet I had the red and my friend the white. I was so impressed with our server who... More

Had a good experience, but found it to be too pricey for what you get. It is a very small venue. They were adding some design touches..

I've been to Vizcaya twice. Once before the remodel and once after. Both times the food was out of this world good. The second time, the atmosphere and the service was also very good. It is a little pricey, but if you are going out for great food and atmosphere, then your going to spend a little anyway. It was... More

I've been to the Vizcaya twice and both times, the food and service have been outstanding. Tonight, I had the Yellow Sole, along with the Cream of Wild Mushroom Soup. My wife had Paella and the Cannelini Bean soup. Our friends had the Maple Duck, Cream of Mushroom Soup and an assortment of tapas (Salsa Rosa, Chorizo, Croquetas Jamon). Our... More

Great atmosphere, can eat in the bar or in a separate dining room. Can tell by the clientele that they are locals. Seafood paella is about the best we have had in the states. With an appetizer, one order of paella is sufficient. Happy hour only applies in the bar.

This is our all time favorite place to eat. Tapas or regular serving. Staff is amazing. Live music. Great cocktail menu. The back room can get a bit warm. But the food makes up for it. Save room for the flan.

A friend and I stopped in after a movie, we sat at the bar with no wait. There was live music, good wine and service staff was busy but helpful. We shared three tapas dishes, Mozzarella Con Tomate, Mariscos En Salsa Rosa, Gambas Al Ajillo. Mozzarella Con Tomate was good, En Salsa Rosa was stronger on Russian style dressing than... More

My wife and I went in on 9/3 for a birthday celebration. We are both now 60. We each had a Tapas to start. I had the bacon wrapped béchamel stuffed Prawns and she had the beef short rib. Both were very flavorful and as good as we expected. For dinner I had the Black Grouper special. Very good, I... More
