Nice beach restaurant/bar

Hula Bay is located in a marina with views of the boats. They have a pool ($4 surcharge on weekends). Reminded me of Frenchy's in Clearwater. We had blackened Grouper sandwiches which were perfectly cooked and came with steak fries. Delicious! Our server (Steve) was friendly, attentive and... read more

We love coming here when we are in Tampa. Great food and atmosphere. Last time we went we saw dolphins playing in the bay about 10 feet from where we were sitting by the water! This place is great!!!

Between Hula Bay & Duke's, you do not want to miss out on this hidden gem of the South Tampa area! The food is awesome and the atmosphere is fun and beachy. Perfect for meeting friends after work, a date night, a girl's night or a family dinner. Definitely a must!

went with a large group of about 20 people. sat outside overlooking the bay and had a real nice time.this is a "fun" food type of place that offers sandwiches, burgers, salads, sushi, fries, etc. The fish sandwich is so big the fried fish hangs over the edge of the plate. our server Sabrina was very nice and attentive. will go back... have been here twice over the last month. have gotten sushi and apps, grouper nuggets and fish dip. sushi is pretty good and priced right, the grouper nuggets are excellent. the fish dip is good, but the tortilla chips it comes with are a bit salty. both indoor and outdoor seating. worth the trip. over looks the bay.

Just okay, service has some room for improvement, food average. The atmosphere is the main attraction in my opinion.

Not our first time here so I will call this an off nite. Place was practically deserted. But yet the server was inattentive and the delivery of our food not as smooth as we would expect. Drinks not refilled promptly, half the entrees delivered missing a side. One meal came a full five minutes after the other seven. (The kids... More

We ate here several times and it was great each time. Love the late lunch / early dinner on the water, watching the sunset. The drinks from the bar were good and not watered down. The service was very friendly. Parking can be a bit dicey (we had to park on the street and walk back to the restaurant (about... More

Although you would think you were lost driving there and the parking is shared with a marina that moves the boats around on fork lifts, it is a great place once you get there. Outside dining over the water and cool dark inside dining is available. The service was good and the food was excellent. Everyone had a great meal... More

We like this place. It's easy dining with our kids and our dinners have always been good. They even serve sushi! You can pull the boat up and eat lunch or just drive. We have been a handful of times and only once did we have a issue with service. Overall it is a nice place that we will continue... More
