I will start with the only negative of our dinner: The bartender did not have the foggiest notion as to making a bloody Mary. House salads were very good. Three of us ordered the Tapas tasting..... Select four tapas. Excellent choice. I had the octopus, paella, mushroom extravaganza, and the Serrano ham charcuterie tapas. Great choices. Another one in our... More

I was in Tampa for business, so I walked over to Spain for dinner. On a Thursday at 6pm, it was empty, but I thought I'd sit at the bar and grab a quick bite. The service was good, but the food tasted like airplane food. I ordered two tapas plates. The beef tenderloin with mushrooms was overly salty and... More

One of my favorite restaurant of all time. Food is great, It's owned by a local family who migrated from Spain to Tampa long time ago. Husband and wife small business which has lots of love and wonderful family atmosphere. The Solo classic guitarists are very talented. Especially Jessy Leros. He is the best guitarist I have ever listened to... More

We were looking for a hip place to hold a cocktail reception for business colleagues within walking distance of the Tampa Convention Center, and someone directed us to Spain. Well, they were right! What a lovely place this is! The tapas were delicious and they kept both white and red sangria going throughout the party. There was a guitarist playing.... More

Came upon this just by chance in between lunch and dinner hours. And we definitely enjoyed all four tapas we ordered. One quibble is that one grilled shrimp dish still has the shell on - and it was a messy and not so easy task to enjoy this dish. But all dishes were either good, very good or great!

Oh so nice. Great food. Wonderful view from tables beside the windows to catch the passerbyers in stride. Beautiful art indoors on the walls...or whatever show they are portraying. Also Flamingo dancers on certain evenings. Attentive and helpful staff to assist you in making just the right choice for you. Nice wine selection also. Find it ...a little tucked away... More

Spain brings Tampa to a higher level of dining sophistication ! The setting is chic and urbane. The tapas choices bring rare Spanish foods to city palate. The Flamenco a Show is vibrant and unforgettable! Thank you to the Castro family for transporting rich urban Spain to Tampa!

This very small place has excellent food and the night we were there for a $7 cover charge, we enjoyed an excellent band and flamenco dancers! Always wanted to try Pulpo a la Gallegas (octopus) and it did not disappoint! Every item was great that we tried right down to crepes for dessert!

Came here for a romantic date with my husband a few months back and then again with my daughter the other night. Ambience is fantastic, food is good especially the shrimp alajillo. The Tortilla is not as good as what my husband makes and he is from Spain, but I recommend it for anyone who likes Spanish music, food, ambience.

Made our first visit to this downtown restaurant last Saturday. We were there early because we had tickets for a show at 7:00 pm. There was only one other couple in the restaurant when we got there but it started to fill up by the time we were leaving. The food was very good ... I had the plate of... More
