We have eaten here a few times now and always had a good time, last night was so disappointing. We were seated in the side room and the noise levels were off the scale, you couldn't hear yourself think, to speak to one another we had to resort to shouting, it was the only way. Very noisy room, loud groups... More

Very good sushi, rolls, sake ( both hot and cold) seaweed and seafood salads to be excited about with very good service and nice atmosphere. They have good food for those not into sushi as well.

I'm beginning to think the reviews here are fake. As an avid fan of Asian cuisine, I can say this is one of the worst places I've ever been, flavor wise. Let me start by saying the decor is lovely, and it's a nice place to eat, but everything else is quite frankly... terrible. The meal arrived roughly 40-60 minutes... More

I had dinner here with my husband, sister and brother in law and my two nieces. It was "Parents Weekend" in Tallahassee so every place was super busy. We had reservations for 8pm on a Friday evening. The place was mobbed. We were seated in a back room in a table next to a wall. It was VERY noisy (seems... More

The greet and seat was fine. Our waitress, Emily, was very good...lovely and accommodating. They were out of a few wines, but my husband and I were finally both satisfied with our selections, and aside from a bit of a wait for our entrees, timing was good, as well. We started with gyozas and edamame. The edamame and accompanying black... More

The lunch combo plate is a great bargain. If you order sushi, you will be delighted with the freshness and the flavor.

I tend to be suspicious of restaurants with large menus who try to do too many things and end up not doing any of them well. But this great Asian in downtown Tallahassee seems to be the exception. It's a huge place, and you'll want a reservation on the weekends. We started with a couple of sushi rolls as appetizers... More

For more intimate setting... Just ask. Otherwise it's like a normal lively Asian spot. My husband ordered Crab Rangoon for appetizer... An while I typically don't like them so much for the cream cheese I can say that they tastes good and much more crab filled than I've ever had. I ordered the Black Bean Scallops. They arrived with so... More

My first time to Masa. Daughter had been before and recommended. Had a pot sticker (excellent), Sake Flight, salad w/ginger dressing, and Crispy Mango Chicken. I thought everything had great flavor, hot, and tasty. I could only eat half, so took rest home. Liked the atmosphere; staff very helpful and friendly. We arrived around 6pm, and had no problem getting... More
