Getting worse...

I used to go to Masa when I had visitors in town. But I started feeling the place less attractive and the food, less delicious. We were seated at a table for 4. But that table for 4 is too small for 4 real people. If you order a few plates or sushi to share, the table is already packed.... read more

The food was tasty and well prepared, but nothing outstanding. Tables were too close together and restaurant was noisy. I know this is a Tallahassee favorite, but I much prefer Lucy Ho's other venture, Azu, on Apalachee Parkway.

Went for dinner with my husband and sister-in-law, we had stir fried noodles, triple stir fry and the honey walnut shrimp. Everything was great. Service was great and we also had the wine special and it was very good as well

Went here for a nice light bite to eat based on yelp reviews. The restaurant did not disappoint. Although I was under the impression it would be a bit more on the romantic side it was actually a family friendly restaurant. Great food. We had apps, sushi and entrees and wine. Friendly service. I wish I hadn't been staying in... More

We have eaten here a few times now and always had a good time, last night was so disappointing. We were seated in the side room and the noise levels were off the scale, you couldn't hear yourself think, to speak to one another we had to resort to shouting, it was the only way. Very noisy room, loud groups... More

Very good sushi, rolls, sake ( both hot and cold) seaweed and seafood salads to be excited about with very good service and nice atmosphere. They have good food for those not into sushi as well.

I'm beginning to think the reviews here are fake. As an avid fan of Asian cuisine, I can say this is one of the worst places I've ever been, flavor wise. Let me start by saying the decor is lovely, and it's a nice place to eat, but everything else is quite frankly... terrible. The meal arrived roughly 40-60 minutes... More

I had dinner here with my husband, sister and brother in law and my two nieces. It was "Parents Weekend" in Tallahassee so every place was super busy. We had reservations for 8pm on a Friday evening. The place was mobbed. We were seated in a back room in a table next to a wall. It was VERY noisy (seems... More

The greet and seat was fine. Our waitress, Emily, was very good...lovely and accommodating. They were out of a few wines, but my husband and I were finally both satisfied with our selections, and aside from a bit of a wait for our entrees, timing was good, as well. We started with gyozas and edamame. The edamame and accompanying black... More
