This is a small buffet that that does a good job on a small number of dishes rather than attempting a huge variety. They have three soups, hot and sour and miso, both of which I recommend, and egg drop, which I do not. This is an unusual egg drop soup because it has a good bit of corn in... More

Very good food. Most folks were there for the buffet but we ordered off the menu and it was great. The gentleman in charge told us they were the oldest restaurant in Tallahassee. I have to say the building and furnishings looked it. Another downfall no alcohol.

When this restaurant opened we went every week. Over time it's become absolutely nasty. They've tried to paint over the mold on the ceilings and wall, the carpet is absolutely solid grease, and even the parking lot has more pot holes than asphalt. Too bad the food is great, but just can't eat there any more.

Being a buffet I expected a larger variety of choices of entrees. This place is one the oldest Chinese restaurants in Tallahassee and it shows. The place is dirty and the walls and bathrooms are filthy. There needs to be a total renovation of the facilities and maybe I would return.

The selection was good, but the hot and sour soup was not very good. Boiled shrimp was mushy, I am a vegetarian and didn't see as many options as I would have liked. Even the pea pods were greasy. We would definitely not go back.

Bamboo House is my favorite Chinese buffet restaurant in town. I learned to eat Chinese food there way back in the early 90s! I grew up in a town with NO Chinese restauratns, so it was great to be able to pick and choose from the buffet until I figured out what I like and don't like! I go there... More

I love it, and I think most people do. The dining room is old and hasn't been updated in a long while, but it is clean and the food is good (I suspect people saying it was "disgusting," "dirty," etc were not expecting a small local place when they thought "Chinese food buffet"). There are 12 or so main course... More

Same woman has been running the show there for years. Friendly staff. Goof variety. Many vegetarian options. Very tasty. I eat there once a month. Used to eat there weekly, but I always stuff myself silly.
