I came in town from Texas and went to coosh's with my buddy. He suggested it and said he had always had good experiences. I ordered the BBQ pork and was pleasantly surprised. Chelsea was our server and she was very friendly and cute. The atmosphere was inviting and nice. I would definitely return.

We stopped in for a casual weeknight dinner with our two small kids. Enjoyed the laid back atmosphere. We had the sampler of 5 selections and the Crawfish Etouffee' was my favorite and some of the best I've had. The shrimp po boy was pretty good. Having lived outside NOLA for a few years, I am used to more flavor... More

Got a great takeout brunch feast from Coosh's this morning. Delicious beignets, chicken biscuits, and a perfectly seasons shrimp and grits. They've also got wonderfully rich peanut butter pie!

My wife and I stopped in today for the first time. We bit on the hope that recent positive reviews were accurate and hooked ourselves into going to try Coosh's Bayou Rouge on Kerry Forrest Pkwy for a Saturday lunch. We left quite disappointed feeling that we probably just came at a bad time or that they weren't quite together... More

We met a friend at Coosh's for breakfast. The breakfast food could be either traditional or a bit cajun with a French twist. We all liked our breakfast. The waitress was a bit slow in filling drinks but other than that we had a great experience. Oh, and the muffins are fantastic!

We decided to place a take-out order from Coosh's BayouRouge tonite. When the entrees came in the front door w/ my husband, he might be satisfied with his Jambalaya, but I am most definitely not happy with my grilled shrimp over rice. Most Southerners know that grilled food has grill marks and a grilled taste. The 9 tiny shrimp have... More

Coosh's is bigger and better than ever. Had the Shrimp Po Boy. For a buck I traded up from fries to jambalya. This move alone got me named as "Forbe's 'Trader of the Week". If you liked the legendary muffins at the Mill, they are back at Coosh's. They've got a mess of Abita beer on tap, too. Bayou Rouge... More

The new location is so much nicer than the dark, dingy place they had before. Good sandwiches. Lots of variety. I don't eat cajun food, but have herd it's pretty good. One of the few places to get beignets in town, open daily for breakfast. Locally owned with loyal clientele. Service most of the time is slow.

My boyfriend and I went to the new Coosh's location off of Thomasville Road recently to try it out. We were almost the only ones in there at 7pm. Our waiter was polite but it took him over 20 minutes to even take our order. Our waiter was also the bartender so I can understand him being busy with that,... More

We went to Coosh's on a Thursday night around 6:30 pm and we were seated immediately. The server warmly welcomed us and took our drink orders. There is a nice selection of beers on tap, all reasonably priced and ice cold. We ordered the full rack of ribs and a Logan chicken wrap. Our side salads came out about 5... More
