You cannot pigeonhole this place. Vegetarians love it, but it has lots of meat. It has a health-food vibe to it, but there are plenty of mainstream dishes. It is a family business, around for many years, and they still care. It's a lunch place -- closed for breakfast, dinner, and Sundays. But they sure know how to make lunch.... More

Hopkins serves a variety of soups and sandwiches along with desserts that change. The food is always made with the freshest of ingredients. Scrumptious!

Thanks to Debbie, the master baker, the Hopkins' carrot cake is to die for. Truly the food of the gods. They have it on Saturday and Monday. It is truly outstanding. I have been going to Hopkins' for more than twenty years. The restaurant has nice food and a nice atmosphere. It always feels good to go to Hopkins'.

We checked this place out based on Trip Advisor's review. We were glad we did. The Guac was great and so was The Hummer. We fell into temptation and had a piece of their home made desserts. And of course the Iced Tea is a must. We will return!

I lived in Tallahassee from 1995-1997, and this was my go-to place. Seriously the best sandwiches I have ever had (although Dayton, OH was damned good for cheesesteaks.) Best sandwich ever? The Spin -- a spinach and cheddar on muffaletta sandwich. OH... MY... GOd... My sister loves the cashew chicken, and I the tuna melt. Both served on delicious breads... More

Need food fast but want the quickie to be memorable as well? Then make your pit stop at the Eatery. I make it a ritual to stop in every time my life "goes south" I mean that in a good way. When I have business to conduct in Tallahassee, Hopkins Eatery is my first choice for lunch. This time it... More

I have been eating at Hopkins for years. They have been able to maintain their quality, not an easy feat. Nice menu variety and soups. Their iced tea is some of the best in town!!

So I constantly have a recurring nightmare where I realize I am in Tallahassee and I have 10 minutes to get to Hopkins before it closes!!! Its that good!! Legendary sandwiches (the cordon blue is my fave) - and the chicken tetrazzini salad is not to be missed. When I die and go to heaven, a never ending supply of... More

I grew up in Tallahassee so I've been going to Hopkin's for who knows how long! I moved away a long time ago but every time I come back to visit family, this is the first lunch I have. The quality and size of the sandwiches has never wavered, neither has the speed (despite lines growing by leaps and bounds... More
