Another fabulous dinner at Cypress!

Three of us dined here and we were quite pleased with our meals. The service was attentive, cocktails were good and the food well prepared. The cobia and lamb were especially tasty. Even though we were full, we split the pecan pie turnover and it was scrumptious! I always enjoy a visit to... read more

We were staying down the street and needed a good meal. It turns out that this place fit the bill perfectly. Nice menu and everything was perfectly prepared. Decent prices and a pretty solid wine list.

Great appetizers, specialty drinks, excellent meal. Maple mopped ribeye will not disappoint. Could not have asked for a better night.

The food was prepared exceptionally well, everything was fresh and flavorful. Our waiter offered great recommendations for our wine pairings.

Tallahassee, like most state capitals, is flooded with lobbyists of either grassroots citizen or professional level. When we go, we need a place to have a nice dinner and unwind. Cypress was highly recommended and it did not disappoint. A common problem in college towns is you get kids as servers and they are lacking in the attributes you expect... More

Don't let the teeming parking lot deter you. Somehow the guys get 'em all in. I had lamb that was roasted in an herbal combination I didn't recognize. It was absolutely delicious! A little pricey. Not a place the kids will enjoy.

Farm-to-table concept with a changing menu based on seasonal availability. It has a nice casual vibe and the servers are very food knowledgeable. We did not have reservations but arrived early and were seated immediately. It is a short walk from Aloft Hotel where we stay when in Tally. The bouillabaisse was phenomenal as were the strawberry-kiwi mojitos. I highly... More

Visited for the first time, for us and our local host friends. Had checked out the menu in advance online and found plenty of interesting choices. These were augmented by a series of specials that made overall selection challenging. The table started with a selection of cheeses. One should admit to hesitation about starting out in this way as it... More

I was not impressed. Food portions small and way over priced. Most likely will not be back. When there as celebration of daughter's birthday.

Visiting Tallahassee for Chamber Capital Days, my group made reservations here. Meal was great. Had the soup of the day, Cobia chowder, entrée, was the quail and belly, so different than anything I would ever order and have eaten. Needless to say I left nothing on my plate. The homemade desserts capped it off, I had the Hazelnut Ice Cream.... More
