While visiting my son in Tallahassee he mentioned this place - I love Indian food - the rest is self explanatory. To see this from the street, in a small strip mall, you might just shrug and pass it up. Don't! The food is very good. I asked to see a menu just to check it out. The prices are... More

Went on a weeknight with two friends. Only my second time eating Indian food. Quint, quiet atmosphere. Was greeted right away and ordered some Indian white wine which was good. Had some kind of trio of dips brought over with wafer crisps and they were all uniquely tasty. Ordered garlic naan as appetizer-very tasty-like a pizza! I ordered the butter... More

Chicken tandori was dry, saag was good and coconut chicken was good. Been to many Inian restaurants and this is nothig to write home about. Ambiance was not up to par for it's location and the service was slow.

I visited The Curry Pot at lunch after first going to Food Glorious Food where I left after standing for 12 minutes without being seated though the place was not packed and the waitresses were talking to each other. The name Curry Pot excited me as I love Indian food and am a regular patron of Samrat, Essence of India... More

They offer a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes on their buffet at lunch time. Be aware that most Indian cuisine is very soupy/saucy. This is very authentic Indian food. The price and location is right. I would go again.

The buffet was good, fresh naan and some good korma. But the bathroom was dingy and there was a few holes in the walls.

Great restaurant- the atmosphere was great for couples and the food was good at a reasonable price. We both had lamb curry with mild seasoning . The lamb was soft and good portions. The service was fast and the replinished the rice often. the spinach bread was tasty but a bit oily . Definitely we will return when we visit... More

Like presumably most folks who enjoy Indian food, I'm looking for some "bite" when I dine at an Indian restaurant. The Curry Pot's lunch buffet fails that standard. The first red flag I encountered upon entering at 11:45 on a Friday was that there were only two tables occupied. At another Indian buffet I frequent, arriving at 11:45 on a... More

I've eaten Indian food many times. I had a FIL that was from India. I have some idea how Indian food is supposed to taste. This place was horrible. The Tikka Masala tasted like some kind of Chef Boyardee sauce, with chewy gristly chicken. The Naan, instead of being lightly crisp and puffy, was soggy and stodgy. To finalize the... More

The Indian food @ this restaurant is tasty but the service is slow. I was there with a large Group on a weeknight and we were practically the only ones in the restaurant. Nonetheless, the service was slow and people received their meals at different times. If the place had been busy, this might have been more understandable.
