We stayed next door at the Hampton Inn and wanted a quick take-out dinner that wasn't a sandwich. After calling in the order 30 mins prior, we waited for another 20 in the restaurant. The tomato soup was inedible but the turkey and dressing was OK. Next time we will try one of the other chains in the block.

First off, I'm a fan of breakfast for lunch or breakfast for dinner. There are a few other places around town for that, but none have the Ranchero sauce. You can use this stuff to create your own Spanish omelet. For some reason the three-egg omelets in Tallahassee seem smaller than the three-egg omelets in other towns. I get the... More

The food was good, at a reasonable price and the service was excellent. However; the restaurant needs a face lift and refinishing inside. It smells as old as it is and that is not very appealing.

I'll start with the staff who are delightful! Then there's the coffee which is fresh and a lovely breakfast blend. The breakfast I had was tasty (as well as the sandwich and pie I had take out the following day) I wish I had stayed in Tallahassee longer just to sample all the pies on the menu!!

This place has very good pie, and the breakfast items; pancakes, eggs, hash browns,etc... are on par with every other denny's, waffle house, and huddle house in town. the price is a little bit higher, yet the real reason to go is there pies. the staff is hit and miss, but more often then not your waiter will be nice... We wanted breakfast in Tallahassee and this well known chain was near our hotel. The servers were very friendly and we were seated immediately although they were very busy on a Saturday morning. Standard breakfast food, not great, but acceptable. Standard chain menu, but was reliable, reasonably priced and fast.

Tallahassee is not known for breakfast places, if you need a traditional sit down breakfast place with national chain standards, this is it. There were no suprises, I have eaten at VI's before so I knew what I should expect and they met my expectations. I am a pancake lover and want my 2 eggs, bacon and coffee to meet... More

This is a good place, nice people, good food, and apparently clean but it STINKS in the entry and even some in the restaurant itself!! Fix this and you will get more business. I almost walked out.

Village Inn is within walking distance to Cabot Lodge. They serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Go there on Wednesday night and get free pie. Yum
