VERY GOOD BREAKFASTS

We enjoy eating breakfast at Village Inn and we especially appreciate the senior citizen discount. The breakfasts are made fresh, the servers are friendly and efficient, and the menu offers many selections at a reasonable price. The restaurant is always busy, especially at breakfast.

We visited tonight because we wanted breakfast for supper. Upon entering we noticed an odor in the hostess area that smelled like the restroom may have overflowed into the carpet in the restaurant. We were seated on the far side near the kitchen entrance. As we walked by several tables with food I noticed that I didn't smell food. It... More

At Village Inn customers are always happily greeted and seated promptly! Even when there's a crowd! We are waited on promptly and orders are always correct and the waitress remembers who ordered what! The waitresses are upbeat and knowledgeable about the menu. This makes for a very memorable visit as well as a return! I love their omelettes! My husband... More

I found this place because I am staying at the Holiday Inn Express across the parking lot. My usual breakfast spots are local cafe, Mimis Cafe, another broken egg, etc. Neither are in this city therefore I tried this place or got the horrible IHOP chain which takes forever and never gets your order correct. This place is refreshing and... More

There were 7 of us and we were seated in good time. The food was really good but our waitress had a memory problem. Maybe she was having a bad day. Would go back.

We stayed next door at the Hampton Inn and wanted a quick take-out dinner that wasn't a sandwich. After calling in the order 30 mins prior, we waited for another 20 in the restaurant. The tomato soup was inedible but the turkey and dressing was OK. Next time we will try one of the other chains in the block.

First off, I'm a fan of breakfast for lunch or breakfast for dinner. There are a few other places around town for that, but none have the Ranchero sauce. You can use this stuff to create your own Spanish omelet. For some reason the three-egg omelets in Tallahassee seem smaller than the three-egg omelets in other towns. I get the... More

The food was good, at a reasonable price and the service was excellent. However; the restaurant needs a face lift and refinishing inside. It smells as old as it is and that is not very appealing.

I'll start with the staff who are delightful! Then there's the coffee which is fresh and a lovely breakfast blend. The breakfast I had was tasty (as well as the sandwich and pie I had take out the following day) I wish I had stayed in Tallahassee longer just to sample all the pies on the menu!!
