Used to order delivery once a week. Loved the pizza and is great for leftovers. It is greasy but it's pizza. The garlic knots were my wifes favorite. Too garlicy for me but they were still good.

the menu is huge, the staff is friendly, and the garlic rolls are the best i've had since marcella (in north miami) was making them in the 70's. the fact that the other food is great is just a bonus! the pizza is thin and crisp and full of flavor; the entrees (chicken, veal, shrimp & eggplant) are delicious --... Mario's is simply the best dining experience in Sunrise, Florida. The owners Frank and Martha make each guest feel like they are part of the family. Fernando, the chief chef is humble but his dishes sparkle with divine flavor. In three days I had four meals at Mario's; each meal was a culinary masterpiece. My only disappointment was that I... Restaurant is small, staff is super friendly, excellent variety on menu with great prices but food was "just" ok! I'll go to OG or Carraba's next time.

I have been going to this place for over 30 years as a snowbird. The food has progressively got worse and worse. Tonight I was there and it will be the last time! The salad is made up of lettuce cores, a few onions and a few carrots. The food tastes like crap and of very poor quality meat. The... More

What may be average pizza from a NY standard, once you move from the east coast and settle anyplace west of the mississippi you will remember the Pizza (and garlic rolls) and everything will be judged by the "Mario's Standard". Enjoy it now!

The food is always good. I'm from NY and try to get to Mario's once or twice each time I am in the area. The garlic rolls are amazing! Service is always good. Prices are so reasonable for the big portions they serve. Although there is not much atmosphere, it is bright and the servers are always smiling. Definitely worth... More

This restaurant is a must everytime we are near here. It is a one of a kind mom-and-pop place selling Italian style food. After ordering, they bring hot rolls drowning in a garlic and olive oil mixture. They are a heavenly meal unto themselves. I had the chicken parmesan and it was wonderful as ever. Service is fast and friendly.... More

I have been in more Pizza places than I care to mention and I have been going to Mario's for over 20 years. The place is consistent, clean and reasonably priced. They make a very good Pasta Fagioli, House Salad, Garlic Rolls and Pizza, among other things.

I like pizza, and only gourmet, mom and pop places I order from (no chains like papa johns and dominos) This pizza was good, enjoyed it. The base crust was a little thin. Didn't allow to hold or fold the pizza without everything spilling out. It could be done, however you needed a 45 degree angle holding position. I enjoyed... More
