There are only a hand full of really good restaurants between Marathon and Key West. The Galley on Summerland is one of them. Friendly staff, well prepared meals. The menu is limited but the specials are usually a treat. Daily soups are a must for me, even when it is really hot. For lunch, I am a big fan of... More

I stopped in for lunch right before they were to close around 2pm - the staff was gracious and friendly. I ordered a BLT & potato salad, both of which were very good. The servers didn't make me feel rushed. This is a great home-cookin', laid back restaurant - a perfect example of the way things used to be "... More

Liked the service here-we were greeted right away and had drinks within minutes. Breakfast came out within 10 minutes or less. The pancakes are very good-omelets good too. My husband said the sausage gravy was the best he has ever had.

If you are in a hurry this is not the place for you. Food is cooked to order. Man items are home town creations. Prices are very reasonable and th place is always packed. Blueberry, mango walnut and cranberry nut pancakes are all wonderful. Omelets and eggs Benedict are fabulous. Waitresses are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

We ate here every morning during our week long stay in the Keys and never ate the same thing twice. The food is wonderfully priced for the amount you get (and for being in the Keys). We highly recommend "The Hobo" and the Monte Cristo. I even tried scrapple, which is very hard to describe but actually pretty good. The... More

Went here for breakfast on Monday, Aug 4, 2014. Heading south, just over the bridge after ramrod key on the left. Small, crowded, pretty good service and not very expensive. We like supporting local businesses instead of a chain place. Salmon wrap with onions, capers, tomatoes was very good. Two egg and ham omlete on a huge croisant was great,... More

Menu selections were a plenty, breakfast was awesome! Varied from traditional, breakfast, to "belly busters", to specials like the "Spinach, Brie and Ham Omelet.

Great shrimp and grits....entire party's breakfast looked great. Small location that fills up quickly. Prompt service with large breakfast menu. Great stop on the way to Key West or on way up from Key West.
