We eat here at least once during every visit to Stuart. Beautiful view of the ships and the inlet. The food is average and a little high for the quality. That said, it is worth it for the view. Great place for the kid. They can feed the fish right off the dock.

If you are looking for an open air, waterfront restaurant with lots of atmosphere, Shrimper's located off Manatee Cove and the St. Lucie River in Stuart is ideal. A recent early dinner with friends included fresh warm bread and a delicious array of appetizers which we shared including crispy beer battered onion rings, sweet potato fries and a surprise treat... Food was good and the service was great. Nice view and very comfortable in the evening in the breeze. We had Peel and eat shrimp and other appetizers and different grouper dishes, all of them were good.

My husband and I had the Greek stuffed shrimp and crunchy fried grouper. The meal was good and the view and atmosphere quite and relaxed. It was nice. We would come back again.

We had the fresh dolphin. Absolutely Tasteless. Homemade blue cheese dressing tasted like the old mayo from the outside of the mayonnaise jar. Croutons on salad also had rancid oil flavor. Green beans awful. Couldn't even eat the tarter sauce (which I needed for flavor of fish). Will NEVER try again.

I have been here a few times over the years and have had a good meal each time. The Grouper Ruben Is my favorite, they have plenty of specials and local catches.

When seated at our table, our server, Rose, was prompt to arrive. She was friendly, our orders were accurate, and our drinks were constantly full. We were seated on the outside patio overlooking the Manatee Pocket. For an appetizer we ordered conch fritters which were cooked to perfection-crunchy on the outside, gooey on the inside. Another show stopper was the... More

Whenever we have family in from out of town this is the first place we take them. Every time I go here to eat we have a wonderful time. Food is always good, the drinks are yummy and the service is right on! We had a party of 14 and our table was ready and from there on was smooth... More

This restaurant is right on the water and you see plenty of boaters docking and coming for refreshments and food. They do specialize on the shrimp dishes, but my favorite in this place other then the atmosphere is the Ahi Tuna salad.
