This hole in the wall is a busy place not a lot of seating so make a reservation if you can. But delicious food. Really enjoyed the plantains.

If you’re looking for an authentic Florida crab shack this is it! The Deep Drop shrimp are simply the best I’ve had anywhere in the world. The fish is fresh and not deep-fried like in most places. Nothing but praise
Dinner on a Sunday. What we liked: - Friendly greeting - Friendly, attentive service; thank you Michelle. - Good food. Not particularly memorable, but good - Clean dining room - Music not too loud What we didn't like: - Postage stamp parking lot. We had...to park across the road. Fortunately traffic was light. - The food presentation was lackluster - Prices are at market but I can't shake the feeling that the food wasn't up to the price. Just unimpressive. - Wine and beer only. What they serve is good but I missed my margarita. - No fresh bread with meal. Would we return? No.More
There is a great Mahi sandwich in Salerno... at Pirates Cove. The one I just had here was a decent portion, but nothing else about it was enjoyable. The bun was, at best, on sale at ALDI for being too old to keep on the...shelf. The fries that came with it can only be described as refried a dozen times in dirty lard. They were the absolute most disgusting fries I have ever seen. They varied in blackness, as if more were added at different times to remove some of the color from the black lard substance they were cooked in. I will not return, ever! At least the sandwich was a whole dollar less than the excellent one around the block.More
Great seafood, well cooked. Excellent soft shell crab. Very good service. We plan to go back. Kind of a hole in the wall, but that is not an issue when the food is this good.
This place looks like a dive from the outside, a little hole in the wall place, but don't let that fool you. The food and service were great! Our server, Michelle, was super friendly and made sure we were taken care of. The crab legs...were huge and the dessert was absolutely delicious. Would definitely make a return visit.More
Great food and everyone in party agreed. Atmosphere is rustic. Will be back! Clam chowder excellent plus slaw also!
When in town we always make an evening free to eat at Gettin' Crabby. We introduced the restaurant to visitors every time we had company and to locals who never ate there. This time I ate at the bar, enjoyed a Miami Heat game on...the TV, had a nice combo dinner. Great quality, friendly bartender, a little small portion of fish and shellfish, but very tasty, The only disappointment, the crab soup, tasty, but in a small coffee cup with small, shredded pieces of crab vs the big chunks of the past. Maybe a sign of the times. Otherwise, excellent service and quality!More
We loved this place. It’s been taken over by an owner who doesn’t care what his customers like. The Royal Red shrimp app was amazing because the shrimp were clean & deveined. Now they’re not & they’re disgusting! When we said something to the owner,...he replied the poop vein gives it more flavor! Not a good answer. I’m pretty sure they’re going to see a decrease in their sales of the shrimp. We love the staff but the new owner not so much! Downfall of a good restaurant…More
We absolutely loved this restaurant. So much tho, we bought a $100 gift certificate for my aunt and uncle (who's condo we stayed in). They went to use it this weekend and the restaurant wouldn't honor the certificate because they changed owners!! Really??? We spent...the $100 and now my aunt and uncle couldn't even enjoy the gift from us. This is totally unacceptable and I am extremely upset. I don't see us going to this place again!!More
Great food. Sorry to hear they are closing their doors today. They are hoping to reopen in a week or two under new management.
I’m not sure if this restaurant is affiliated with the one in Reading Pennsylvania but I had lunch at the Reading PA location and it’s the most racist restaurant I’ve ever been it , their racism is blatant and boldly disgusting, today was my first...and last time walking through those doors, hate is the backbone of the problems of this world today, but I never expected it in a place like this , and the manager is ge promoter of the racism, I’ve tried numerous times to reach out to the owner of the restaurant, I was told that he owns the Florida location as well as the PA location, I’ve been to hundreds and hundreds of seafood restaurants but I’ve never experienced bias like this , I even called the manager from the parking lot and he said my kind ain’t welcomed as he hung up in my ear, the food was as bad as the manager, basically a greasy spoon, the boom boom shrimp were chewy like chewing gum, way overcooked, they advertise that chips come with sandwiches, we never saw them , and the restaurant was completely empty at noon when we arrived and the unfriendly waiter sat us damn near in the bathroom, this place is a undercover racist barn house , I’m sure they’ve been doing this forever because no way this just started today, I also filed a complaint with 2 agencies. I’ll never go back ever. The only thing that the manager was missing was his white sheet over his head.More
Food here is awesome! Ambiance is basic Florida dive bar which only adds to the overall experience. Group of 8 all had different meals and all were judged to be excellent. Crab cakes, cracked conch, fish of the day, snow crab legs, etc. Worth a...visit!More
First off let me say that we have been to getting crabby a few times before and we loved it. The food was good the service was good. My girlfriend is having a major medical procedure in a couple of days so we figured we...needed to do something special to take her mind off of it, so we decided to spend this occasion at getting crabby having crab. The only seats were at the bar and that was ok. We asked about king crab legs and the bartender first response was those are very expensive, almost saying he thinks it’s too expensive for our wallets, which we thought was odd, but didn’t think much of it. I ordered a Mango beer and the keg tapped out halfway through so the beer was half foam half beer, the bartender says this one’s on me sorry about that and I had no problem at all drinking it. We ordered the king crab legs which we were told were somewhere between 1-2 lbs and the dungeonous crab. When the crab came the king crab was 2 legs(see photo). We felt like we were getting ripped off and politely sent it back. The bartender immediately asked if we wanted him to take it off the tab as if we wanted a free meal out of it. He never asked if there was anything else we wanted to order, explained that each leg was half a pound, and then wouldn’t even make eye contact with us. At some point we asked the nice couple next to us what they thought and they couldn’t agree more. I asked them what they would do if they were us and he said “honestly I’m really glad we’re not you guys, this is bad send it back, good luck” From the moment we walked in we felt like this guy thought we were trying to get free food or something, it was the most bizarre and least enjoyable dining experience ever for me. And to top it off the guy charged me for the glass of Mango foam beer he said he wasn’t going to charge me for. I felt like he wanted to test me to see if I'd ask him to take it off but we didn't. We paid and STILL tipped him 20%. I felt so uncomfortable and we couldn’t get out of there fast enough. We went across the street to twisted tuna and enjoyed a nice meal in a much cleaner place.More
Nautical theme. Charming. Four of us came for lunch. We ordered a variety of appetizers and entrées: conch, shrimp, oysters, crab, scallops. Plenty of food. We washed it down with beers. There's a nice selection of brews to choose from. Friendly atmosphere. There's live entertainment...on some evenings, but we were here to early for it. My rating is actually a 4 1/2.More
