Large restaurant, eat inside or out (patio), good food!

We enjoyed a very nice meal here recently: spinach & artichoke appetizer, grouper reuben sandwich w/ coleslaw, fried grouper on a bed of garlic-enhanced mashed potatoes, spinach leaves and clam chowder. Our waiter was very helpful as we were not familiar w/ the fish native to FL and he... read more

Old Stuart institution that we usually don't frequent but that will change! My baked stuffed shrimp was good and for $18 bucks very fairly priced. Along with the soup ( or salad included) that they are known for (NE clam chowder) a great value. My wife had the horseradish grouper and proclaimed it was the best grouper she ever had... More

I found the restaurant dated and old. It attracted an elderly crowd. I found the food bland and the service lacking. It was very crowded and loud.

We stopped by The Prawnbroker Grill without reservatiions but were seated quickly ... in the annex behind the restaurant, next to a parking lot. Atmosphere? Zero! Yet we could see the funky interior which only made us feel like second-class citizens. A waiter appeared shortly with menus ... and then disappeared. I finally flagged him down and we ordered New... This restaurant offers early bird specials as well as 2 for 1 drinks in the dining room. the food and service are both excellent with an outdoor covered area complete with a bar. Parking is limited.

The Prawnbroker is our “go to place” when want either a quick glass of wine and simple dinner at the bar or a more extensive time with friends for wine and dining at a table of booth. This is a rather large place and reminiscent of an English Pub with a friendly bartender staff and servers. The food is always... More

Haven't eaten at the Pawnbroker for a number of years. Drive by often. Always busy. Seated promptly. Server attentive. Menu varied. Food arrived quickly. Ambience pub like and easy to carry on a conversation. Will return.

Four of us went for a late lunch on a Friday. Ordered two martinis and then ordered lunch. Wanted to try the clam chowder along with an entree. The clam chowder came out almost immediately which meant it was delivered about ten minutes before the martinis - not cool for a flagship restaurant. The chowder was great, the meals were... More

I have eaten at Prawnbroker about twenty times in the past ten years. It is tucked away in a shopping center between Stuart and Hutchinson Island. It has a dark, pub-like interior with a large attractive bar. Hostesses greet you as you enter the restaurant. The service has always been attentive and friendly. It can get very crowded during the... More
