we have come to the prawnbroker for many years and have always enjoyed it

good family friendly fish restaurant. Always reliable and dependable for a quality meal at a fairly reasonable price

We've been going to Prawnbroker Grill since 2000 - and ALWAYS had great meals. However tonight was not one of those nights - not sure if the kitchen was off - or what. I ordered the clambake special (the picture on Facebook was so enticing I wanted it) - it was awful. The entire dish was swimming in butter that... More

We go to Prawnbrokers often. They have a sunset menu with very reasonable prices. The building itself is so attractive. Between each table is beveled glass with lots of brass and unique ceiling fans. Wednesday night is locals night. Lots of Bermuda shorts, no socks and loafers. Singles like this place.

We love the food at Prawnbrokers.. it is always fresh and plentiful. The selection is great and the fish is fresh from the water. We are always confused by the service. On our visit last week we again saw that the "spoiled" servers have all their tables seated and other really good servers stand around waiting to get seated. This... More

Onion soup had plenty of cheese but the broth was bland; tasteless. Salad had a few wrinkled, pale grape tomatoes, blue cheese dressing thin & bland, 1 small piece of cheese served in a plastic cup. A real turn off for an otherwise good looking salad. Osso Bucco was barely warm. Sent back for a reheat. Not too bad otherwise.... More

We had a wonderful meal here. Our waitress was awesome and very attentive. We all got the same entree which is the house specialty of horseradish crusted grouper with a butter rum sauce. It sounds weird but was one of the best things Ive eaten in a long time! The portions were more than generous. We got 2 for 1... More

I went to the Prawnbroker in late March for a dinner. There was a line so we ate in the outside bar area and that was ok.I ordered the pork chop thinking it would be a double stuffed chop or a few chops with garlic mashed. When the plate arrived I was surprised to see a single scrawny pork chop on the... Old Stuart institution that we usually don't frequent but that will change! My baked stuffed shrimp was good and for $18 bucks very fairly priced. Along with the soup ( or salad included) that they are known for (NE clam chowder) a great value. My wife had the horseradish grouper and proclaimed it was the best grouper she ever had... More

We stopped by The Prawnbroker Grill without reservatiions but were seated quickly ... in the annex behind the restaurant, next to a parking lot. Atmosphere? Zero! Yet we could see the funky interior which only made us feel like second-class citizens. A waiter appeared shortly with menus ... and then disappeared. I finally flagged him down and we ordered New...
