A little noisy but tasty

This a charming, bustling (in season) cafe. Some of the tables have a view of the St. Lucie River and the river walk is right out the door. The Ahi over soba noodles appetizer was scrumptious. The play on Oysters Rockefeller ( "Oysters Rocka-feder") was very tasty - six oysters topped with spinach... read more

An eclectic menu with fresh delicious seafood and a great wine selection in a cozy friendly environment. The prices are reasonable. A selection of fresh oysters and fish.

Cute atmosphere but food was just average and very pricey. Service was ok - not anything special. There are a lot of restaurants to choose from in downtown Stuart. I travel to this area at least once per year and for my next visit I'll choose someplace different to eat.

After a walk around the area looking at restaurants my wife and I decided on the Riverwalk Cafe. A great choice. A rather small space with windows overlooking the river. Sat at the bar. Service was excellent and food did not take that long at all considering it was a full house. At the bartender's suggestion the wife had the... More

We did not have reservations on the Friday before Valentine's Day and Robin, the hostess did not laugh at us! She took our cell number and called us when seats at the bar opened up. Nice touch. Becky, our waitress/bartender, was cheerful and friendly. We had the Hog Fish and YellowFin Snapper. Both were outstanding. Nice buzz, friendly locals and... More

We had dinner here recently. When we arrived, the person at the door, (hostess, owner?), just looked at us. We gave her our name for the reservation, she pointed at the table and put menus and wine list on the table--wow, not welcoming at all. Then the wait began, no server, and it is a very small restaurant. After ten... More

If you are in West Palm Beach and looking for a new dining adventure, think about driving about forty miles north to Stuart. In the historic downtown neighborhood there is a restaurant is that simply superb: cuisine, preparation, atmosphere, staff. Everything is A+ and well worth the drive to Stuart. [The Riverwalk at 201 SW Saint Lucie. Reservations are a... More

Small restaurant with nice ambience, very friendly staff, creative and tasty food, and a very nice wine selection. It is located in a historic building close to the water if you wish a nice after dinner walk. The restaurant was full on a Tuesday evening so we knew the food would be very good. Its a little pricey but worth... More

A couple of days ago I rebelled against spending $11.95 for a mediocre fish taco, today we happily paid $60 for lunch. Why? Because the Riverwalk Cafe is a wonderful dining experience...from a wonderful, cozy setting, to a happly, lively crowd having a good time, to wonderful food, to a great wine list...this place has it all. We came for... More
