Wasn't real impressed with our visit two years ago but gave them another shot this trip as well. Mistake! Service was horrible and portions small.Waited almost an hour for our food (4 of us) and the food was not worth the price. Will not be back Roys, sorry. Word to the owners... work on your wait staff. They are serving... More

So Steinhatchee has very limited restaurants in the area. Roys seemed to be a no brainer. A seafood restaurant on the river on the Gulf. Their special was SWAI fish! What? That is a native fish of Vietnam! I assume they are getting them farmed raised. But come on, no local caught fresh fish from a restaurant on the gulf.... More

Way too pricey for the food you are given. The staff are really not very friendly, and definitely not fast paced! However, if you are wanting a fantastic sunset view, this is the place to be!

The sea food is fresh and able to order it cooked broiled or fried. The salad bar was very good. The Bannana Drink from the bar was excellent. It was busy and they did well to get our food out quick = A+

When the waitress says nothing is fresh, that means the boats were not able to go out that day. I have eaten there numerous of times. When I visit my mother we often go there to eat. The portions are huge, so it is better to share a dish. This is the only place I know of that I can... More

When you have a restaurant in a place known for fishing and the waitress says, "Nothing is fresh," that says it all. Hard to mess up swai but it can be done

Florida "fried" would best describe most of the dishes. Smallish selection of menu items and they are over priced. All the ambiance of a banquet hall.

It is not on the menu, but you can ask to substitute the best potato salad ever for a side. It is made with red potatoes and has onions. The grouper sandwich is great, too!

We went to have an early supper there (around 4:30), when we arrived, I believed we were one of only 3 parties there. We were seated immediately and a window table that had a remarkable view of the water, our server took our drink and appetizer order which were promptly brought. My wife ordered the fried shrimp $16.99 and I... More
