We drove 200 miles roundtrip from South Georgia to eat at Roy's Seafood, Steinhatchee, FL. We got there at 5 PM, Saturday, were seated immediately at a requested window seat toward the west. Waitress was very friendly and attentive, named Pam. We had cocktails and she told us they had mullet that night which we love. Our party of three... More

I grew up spending summers and holidays in Steinhatchee and Roy's was always our place. Although the ownership has changed, the food has not! The house dressing and potato salad are worth the trip. Thanks to Linda Nd her staff for giving me a taste of my childhood.

Called order in. Person who answered was very helpful and suggestive in taking my order. Was told food would be ready for pickup in 15 minutes. When I arrived everything was ready and waiting. The orders were correct and the food was hot and delicious. Thanks Roys...You guys are the best!

We took the recommendations from our hotel and gave Roy's a try. When we walked it, the place was less than half full, but only one staff was in sight and she was trying to tend the bar, as well as serve/ seat customers. Two staff were seated at a both, eating. We were told to wait, they would be... More

Seems that the ratings and reviews are all over the board on Roys. That is reason enough for management to take a look at their operation, I would think. Or maybe not. My wife and I popped in to Roys after having visited there a couple of years ago. This latest visit was the same as the last in that... More

We went to Roy's over the weekend and did not have a great experience! We visit Steinhatchee often and this trip we decided to visit Roy's. We will never do that again! Our first look at the menu was like wow the food sounds good but the prices are a little HIGH! We thought we would still give it a... More

Food was very good but a little on the expensive side. I loved the buffet style salad bar. Be sure you ask for a window table and watch the sunset down into the ocean. One of the prettiest views I have seen.

Roys in Steinhatchee does not have a steam table. I work there and mullet, grouper, snapper, hog fish are not frozen. Before you pop off to much you may want to know whatvyou are talking about. The fish house you spoke ofvhas been CLOSED for years!

Roy's is a local haunt that dishes out fried seafood to tourists in Steinhatchee. I am an occasional tourist in Steinhatchee, and I happen to like fried seafood. In that regard, Roy's is A-ok in my book. Steinhatchee is a very small town on the gulf that gets busy for trout season and slammed for scalloping season. It's not the... More

I was fishing in Steinhatchee and stopped at Roy's which sits on stilts hanging over the Steinhatchee River and within sight of the Gulf of Mexico. The next building down was a fish house where Gulf commercial fishermen sold their catches. I looked at the menu and ask my waitress if the shrimp were fresh to which she replied, "They're... More
