We have just visited this restaurant and it was not a good experience. My partner chose a filet steak entree and asked for it to be medium/well cooked - not only did it come rare to medium, it tasted so bad that he couldn't eat any of it. The server was not interested or apologetic, just took it away without... More

If you are looking for a nice place to enjoy and intimate dinner, then Brian's place is great. Atmosphere at night is cozy and the food not too bad. If you're looking for a place to go for a casual lunch, forget it. Lunch prices are too high, and the value of the food for lunch is average at best.

We found Brian's place a few years ago. At that time we considered it a sweet location we could walk to & enjoy some unique flavored dishes. However , it seems Brian's is going through some growing pains. If you wish to be fine dining then you need to first do a better job training your service staff. We dined... More

This place did not impress me at all. Lots of talk about it, Italian/Cuban fusion, wow. The food was just so so. It's like the cook is trying too hard and you end up with this over seasoned over ingredient dish. I think they are trying to be a fine dining establishment, but the furniture feels like party rental folding... More

My husband stopped in for lunch on Friday during his lunch break and had an awesome lunch. The Cuban sandwich was delicious and the Cuban bread tasted like it was straight from the oven. It was such a good experience that he decided to treat me to lunch on Saturday. The brunch menu wasn't as appealing as the menus he... More

We went for the first time on a Friday evening, and sat right in front of the live musician, which could have been terrible, but was a lot of fun. The food was great! Between the four of us, we tried the Pesto and Prosciutto Deparma Wrapped Chicken (every bit of it was good, from the chicken to the potatoes... More

This was our first time at Brian's Place, we had lunch. I had a grilled tuna steak on a pretzel roll, and my husband had a double burger on a pretzel roll. Both we delicious. This is a very quaint restaurant and tucked away on Shoal Road, we shall return for dinner to try the dinner menu. We are new... More

Great service and even better food. You have to go a long way to beat the value, quality and service. This place is the best around! Hungry and in the area? Do yourself a favor, make it a point to enjoy Brian's Place.
