Quality food but ambience could be improved

I've been going to Sea Siam for over 10 years. The food is consistently good -- my wife likes the Thai dishes and I prefer the sushi. However, the inside was dated 10 years ago and hasn't been touched since. They need to overhaul the inside so badly that we have resorted to only doing take-out... read more

We have going to Sea Siam for 15+ years. Last night we were there and 3 other tables were seated. We waited and waited and no one would come to our table to take our order. Finally, we stopped a waitress and asked if we could get water. She pointed at someone else and kept walking. 10 more minutes passed... More

We went because it had good reviews. The beef pad Thai smelled like horse meat and tasted worse. The chicken pad Thai was soggy and tasteless. The spicy tuna roll was soggy and the sauce didn't taste good. The dragon roll was good though. Also, the shrimp fried rice tasted like it was old and maybe frozen. $130 down the... More

Pathetic customer service. Avoid this place if you want an enjoyable experience. My wife's family have been going to Sea Siam for years. We went there last night and were treated terribly by their bartender. It was a busy night so we went to the bar to wait for our table. We saw the bartender serving someone a drink, so... More

Outside of Europe this is the best Thai Food we have found. They serve a full Japanese menu as well which is nice so you can mix it up a little. The interior is starting to show some wear ,but the food quality has been maintained. However the portions seem to have shrunk some over the past couple years. One... More

My GrSon and I enjoyed a fine lunch at the Sushi Bar. The sashimi was fresh and quite tasty and was served along with a crabmeat salad. Also, the miso soup and the Thai dish were excellent. The service both from the Sushi Chefs and the waiter were superlative. It's nice to see that the bartender-part owner with the inhospitable... More

Based on a friend's recommendation, we came for lunch. The choices are ample for lunch specials. All specials include soup, egg roll, and fried white rice. We ordered the crispy duck with cashews and baby corn. This was $10. Each. The soup was rice in a mild chicken broth. The egg roll was was a mini vegetable one (2 bites).... More

We've been to this restaurant a few times because it's in the neighborhood. Each time we go though, the food is rather unmemorable. The good: service is always very good, pleasant and courteous. Thai donuts and gyoza were excellent. Average: spring rolls and pad Thai were just ok. Pad Thai lacked a little flavor compared to other places we are... More

Don't let the unassuming strip mall exterior fool you- this place is a gem. Will you get fussed and fawned over? No. But put on your big people pants and enjoy the great sushi and Thai. Chat it up with the most diverse crowd of regulars you'll find in Miami and you'll be hooked. Don't be surprised if you live... More
