Went here on a whim and it was a great decision. Located in South Miami in a small neighborhood,. Food was out of this world. On the recommendation of our waiter we all ordered the fried chicken with the bacon gravy. It was beyond delicious. Reasonably priced, only down fall was it was just beer and wine

So we finally got to eat at Whisk Gourmet and it was well worth the wait! Here is my review on my blog for more details and photos: http://listen2mama.com/2014/12/16/whisk-gourmet/ The restaurant is in a great little neighborhood of South Miami and since it is small, they do not take reservations for parties less than 6. So you have to time... More

I must admit this place has a nice menu, and the food was tasty, and reasonably priced. After that, it's all downhill. Parking may as well be non-existent. Apparently South Miami does not have any regulations regarding restaurant parking. We ended up parking several blocks away. The wait for a 4-top was almost 40 minutes on a week night shortly... A great menu offering hardy portions and excellent food. The parking is an issue but well worth the effort. The service is fast and friendly. A very good wine and beer list.

Lively restaurant, packed into a cozy space. Call ahead to avoid an impossible wait. Even with advance notice you'll likely wait for a table to open up. Parking as others have noted is ridiculous. Service was good and attentive. Food options are varied and all were very good. Some nice local variations on the meals served. Prices are on the... More

I'll start with the bad and get it right out of the way. Parking is almost impossible to find. They have about 12 spots in their actual lot. After that, you have to drive around for about 30 minutes to find a spot within 3 blocks of the restaraunt. But the restaurant itself is fantastic. Fairly small. We started with... More

A really good neighborhood restsraunt . Excellent food and service. The fried chicken is great as are the ribs. We also had breakfast there and again the food was very good. Whenever we visit Coral Gables Whisk is a must.

Where to start? Cozy casual dining. Small market driven menu, that has many unique dishes. The staff were very friendly and helpful... On a Friday night, they were very busy. You can order take-out if you don't want to wait for a table. We ate the shrimp and grits, perfectly cooked. Highly recommend. Dates wrapped in bacon, this was the... More

Recently visited this restaurant because the line outside Rok:Burger and Otown were too long. It is not on the main road but it was worth it. The wait wasn't that bad (about 20-30 minutes). The place has a homey, casual atmosphere. Friendly service too. Whisk is known for their fried green tomatoes but since we went during sunday brunch, I... More

everything from this place deserves your curious attention! the jar glasses, the mint lemonade, the open kitchen. But nothing brings you to your knees until you carefully REAd the menu, because everything from the Gorgonzola stuffed dates wraped around bacon to the rosemary homemade baked bread is to die for. My special recommendation is the Southern fried chicken, which you... More
