We were very disappointed. We preferred the original Broken Egg over this new updated version. The food was good, but we wanted to make a few substitutions on our order and we're told flat out no. We would have paid extra- no problem. We noticed other servers offering details about the menu where our server offered nothing.

This is now "Another Broken Egg Cafe" but there doesn't seem to be a listing for it on TripAdvisor. I'm living back in NY and every once in a while I crave their bacon, chorizo, fresh scrambled eggs, and seasoned country potatoes. Their pancakes, waffles, etc is all great too but I'm not a "sweets for breakfast" kind of gal.... More

The breakfast was OK. I would say it was better but the price was kinda high. $40 for breakfast for 2 people? I've had better, I've had worse.

Quite popular, very busy but the service was good. The food portions are quite generous. The BLT was excellent a very generous portion of bacon, the hamburger was also excellent, highly recommend it.

The Broken Egg chain, one of southwest Florida's best-known restaurants that specializes in hearty breakfasts, has been broken up. Bob Kirscher, the longtime owners of the Broken Egg on Siesta Key, Lakewood Ranch and Clark Road, has sold his stake in the business. Now those Broken Eggs are known as Another Broken Egg. Same place, same good food, same good... More

Found this restaurant while looking for another that had gone out of business. SO LUCKY! This indoor/outdoor café was so amazing. Mimosas and omelets were top notch! Especially the Florida Omelet. Atmosphere and service were excellent. Go early to beat the crowd! There was a long wait to get in as we were leaving. Cannot wait to go back.

We visited Another Broken Egg in Siesta Key Village twice during our stay last week. Kids really enjoyed the belgian waffles, dollar pancakes, and large chocolate milk served in a milkshake glass with whip cream (optional). My husband and I enjoyed the crab and cream cheese omelette, the blackberry grits and fresh muffins, the lobster and brie omelette, the corn... More

Every time I visit Sarasota I make it a point to eat at The Broken Egg. There are a few different locations here. My favorite is on Siesta Key primarily because of location near The number one ranked beach in the USA. Today was a pleasant surprise. I had a scrumptious verge omelette and cheese grits. Both gluten free. The... More

The restaurant was extremely busy the morning we visited. However, we were seated quickly and served our breakfast beverages promptly. Prices are average for a restaurant breakfast; about $8 a person plus the cost of your beverage. The eggs were cooked as I requested, and their homemade corned beef hash was good. They also offer healthier options such as fruit... More

Two minute walk from our hotel we were treated to a great breakfast with service from a Siesta Key local. Sausage that is made right there....... They're only open til 2pm and it stays pretty busy but the outdoor patio has plenty of seats. They also have mugs and other items for sale.
