Great food

Great food and very reasonably priced if you go to for the early bird specials. I had the seafood combo with scallops, shrimp and salmon in a baked pastry with white sauce, it was yummy.

We dined at Miguel's based on the recommendation of a friend. Otherwise, we would never have found it. It's tucked away in the corner of a little strip center. The service was very attentive and the food was fabulous. We started with the table-side prepared Caesar salad. I've had a million Caesar salads, but this one was truly exceptional. The... More

This was our 4th visit. Every year we visit Siesta Key, Florida and we make it a point to dine here. The food and waitstaff is wonderful. The "early bird" special is too good of a deal to pass up. Appetizer or soup, salad, entree and dessert along with small hot garlic bread, and yes, they are served hot for... More

We have been coming to Siesta Key for almost 30 years, and for some reason, this is the first time we have tried Miguel's. We have been missing a great place! My wife, mother in law, and I went this evening during the early bird time frame..what a great experience. The service was excellent (thanks Kathryn!), and the food was... More

Now that the summer has come, it is easier to go to the keys. Miguel's has a early bird menu that is very affordable. Even the full menu prices are within range. The servers were very attentive and informative. The restaurant was pretty full but the conversation at our table was heard very well. The menu had several items that... More

Miguel's has been here for over 30 years owned and operated by the same family. Hidden away but worth the search. If you stay on Siesta Key it is a must. Excellent selections and presentation. First class service. Food is excellent. Atmosphere is one of the best in Sarasota. And, the great part, it's reasonably priced. You will not be... More

Their early bird prefix menu was a good deal. Service was professional and very attentive. We had the lamb and the duck. Would definitely go there again next time we're in Siesta Key.

We came in at 7. Our main course didn't come until 8:30. The restaurant was about 3/4 full. There was a very large party in our room so it was noisy. The food was excellent but dinner was very slow. Another table near us had the same complaint. We had steak and salmon which were excellent. Not sure what the... More

This is located in an unassuming strip mall, but the food was excellent. We went during Savor Sarasota restaurant week and were not disappointed. The shrimp & portabella appetizer was wonderful and the lamb chop moutarde delicious. Others had le veal paprikash which was also very tasty. We will definitely be returning here to try more of the menu!

We recently had dinner at Miguel's with friends who are regulars and love the place. It was easy to see why. Miguel's has an extensive menu of tempting dishes, great drinks, good wines, excellent service and a very comfortable but not fussy dining room. I would say that the overall style tends more to continental than just French, though the... More
