Tucked away in the corner of an unobstrusive strip mall is this wonderful restaurant. You step into an old Europeon style, with a little French ambiance type of setting. My husband had the $20 early bird where you get appetizer, salad, soup, entree and dessert. His choice was the Filet Mignon with peppercorn sauce. (I would have picked the Bernaise... More

From the homemade salad dressing to the Filet Mignon to the roast duck and raspberry sorbet, this restaurant is the best I've ever had, and 1/4 the price of a lot of the restaurants we frequent here in Ohio.

So who would think you could wander into a nondescript strip mall and find a beautiful, quaint, old European style french restaurant? What a find. Our waitress was friendly and very knowledgable about the wine and everything on the menu. My husband and I had the caesar salad with tableside preparation, and was probably the best salad I'd ever had...this... More

You need to go here for an Early Bird! For $20 you get an app, salad, entree and dessert! I mean really! I had shrimp (only 2, unfortunately, but you could tell it was super fresh), salad, duck (so crispy!) and a mousse! What a deal! This is the fourth year in a row we've gone for my mother's birthday!... More

Miguel's restaurant has been doing business in a hard-to-find corner of a small shopping mall on Siesta Key in Sarasota, Florida, for 30 years. He must be doing something right because you'd think a place located in such an out-of-the-way place would go unnoticed and out of business if the food wasn't good. Well, the food is very, very good.... More

First time dining at Miguel's and how grand it was! The meal was superb, bit the little touches...fresh duck pate served complimentary once seated. Cold ice water poured with out having to ask.... Impeccable service! Wonderful specials and excellent veal! Definetly is on my radar upon return to Sarasota!,,

I had a wonderful meal here chosen from the four course menu. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Our server "Egor" was very helpful and professional, which made our dining at Miguel's an even more enjoyable experience!

I hadn't been here in many years and after going, I wondered why I had not been going there. The best restaurent on Siesta Key, in my opinion. Went with a couple of friends for early ird. They have a number of items in a four couse selection for under $20, including a small filet. a salmon dish and a... More

We have eaten at Miguels over the past five years. This year we were there in May and I had the mussels which were too small and overcooked. Also I had the lamb, it was overdone and I had asked for medium rare. I didn't send either back as there was only one waiter on and we had a long... More
