Spent every Sunday afternoon with friends and family, listening to Desi and his reggae band whilst enjoying boiled shrimp. Great ambience, lots of fun and the food is delicious, but chilling out and jammin' with Desi is the best!

I remember when this was the spot to go to on a Friday or Saturday night but I just can't say the same anymore. The food really isn't their focus and I've waited way too long for a drink each time I've gone in here for a drink. Generally it's one drink and leave.

Enjoyed a few (too many) late night drinks at Gilligans recently. The atmosphere is very laid back and tropical. We had a party of about 6-8 and the bar was able to accomodate to our needs. The live music is a great plus at this establishment. A cute "beach bar" type place to go when you are visiting the Village.... More

We went for a quick dinner after spending the day at Siesta Key beach. The service was fine, but the food was not. The grouper and mahi were not tastefully prepared at all. The amount of fish on the mahi sliders was a joke; it should have been an appetizer. Even the fries were not tempting. For the prices one... More

They had heaters on porch so we thought great, give it a try. Heater soon ran out and despite our request for it to be fixed, no one did. Sweet potato fries were really good as was chicken sandwich. Mahi Mahi sliders...yuk, left my stomach upset all afternoon. Coleslaw was good and lastly, service was pretty pathetic ...beach town, high... More

We hung out at Gilligan's several times during our recent trip to Siesta Key. Rachel was the greatest server!! She made sure we had everything we needed quickly and joked around with us. Most servers can be so stiff....it was a great experience to have someone just joke right along with us. We truly had a great experience and will... More

My wife and I stopped by Gilligans for dinner and a few drinks on a beautiful evening in ealy February. We looked around the village for a spot to eat but found most had outdoor live bands that were just a little too loud for us that particular evening. We sat on the deck at a table closest to the... Was just in Siesta Key and went to this restaurant for dinner & drinks. The atmosphere was really nice...tropical with music and outdoor dining. Unfortunately, the menu was limited and the food was just average. The service was terrible...very slow and not accommodating at all. I ordered a drink special & my boyfriend ordered a margarita and they were both... More

Wonderful food for an island grill and atmosphere was over the top!! I could have spent the day reading the signs and enjoying island decor. A great day to spend a cloudy Saturday listening to a live band, drinking a $5 fresh squeezed margarita, and enjoying mahi fish tacos. My husband doesn't drink and he had just as much fun!!... More
