Good news is they take reservations. The food was good as were the drinks. They have a garden seating area with live entertainment and a bar area with high tables. Standard Siesta Key menu but good.

We sat in the back outside on a chilly but sunny afternoon. Cute decor, somewhat tacky with tiki huts, but then again, it's the beach!! My husband and I each had the fish sandwich which came with fries. Absolutely delicious and very fresh and enormous portion Also the food server was friendly, prompt and helpful. will definitely return in the... More

We had dinner tonight at this restaurant. It was truly outstanding and should not be missed if you are anywhere near Siesta Key. The service was exceptional; the quality of the meal, the presentation, were absolutely outstanding. Not just one of the best meals we have had in Siesta, or in Florida, but truly one of the best meals we... More

This was a real gem and a surprise of a restaurant. When we popped into this "bar looking" restaurant I wasn't expecting much, but my husband and I were wowwed by the artfully designed and amazingly delicious meals we had here for lunch after stolling the Sieste Key Beach for hours. We sat in the outdoor private patio. The crab... More

Can't visit Siesta Key without a stop at The Cottage. Stopped in 3 times this trip and each one was unique and excellent. Tim, the manager, is one of the best I've ever experienced. He treats everyone special and works the room like a master. Their menu is unique and maybe not for everyone, but there are plenty of options... More

Really really good. The lucky lichen martini was divine. The shirt ribs, the Walu fish and the lobster roll were amazing and the Caesar salad, in the words of my kid, was the best salad ever. We're from LA and a bunch of foodies...and it's well worth the visit.

Had many different tapas: Korean short rib, excellent; mussels, wonderful; ceviche, a bit acidic; shrimp roll disappointing; tuna tacos pretty good. Its basically a pub, so not a place for slow relaxed dining. But would go again if in the area.

We love visiting the Cottage after a day on Siesta beach. It's a fun restaurant with great atmosphere, very good service and good food. The front porch faces the heart of Siesta Key Village. The back outdoor seating is usually accompanied by music and the indoor seating allows you to watch large TVs at the bar area. The food is... More

Our server, Theresa, was among the best we have had anywhere on our extended road trips. She was helpful and friendly. We had lobster bisque, tuna and Watermelon tapas, Korean beef tapas and the shrimp tempura tapas - all were excellent. The risotto with white truffle oil was incredible and the Walu entree was one of the best I have... More

We had drinks at the Cottage during the week and decided to give dinner a try. The menu is casual in nature, but with interesting twists. My husband wanted the oysters on half shell, but they were out. The waitress suggested the mussels and WOW, they were plentiful and had great flavor, served with 3 large pieces of garlic bread....
