Food was great

I had the grouper sandwich and it was awesome. Large piece of fish and the bread was fresh. The homemade chips were great!

Visited with college friends last weekend. It was quite busy so we ended up sitting at a bar table. Server was friendly but the menu was short on options and a little pricey. We decided to have a few drinks and some tapas. Nothing to write home about. Food presentation was nice but all in all average. Drinks were inconsistent.... More

Visited with a group of friends. We all enjoyed our meals and the presentation of all the items was beautiful. The Lobster Bisque was creamy and velvety with good flavor. The Scallop Ceviche appetizer was a nice balance of acid and seafood flavor. The Truffled Pasta with Alfredo was the best I've ever had. The cocktails were the only weak... More

The seafood was fresh and delicious. Everything that was brought to us was prepared to perfection. We had calamari, tuna tacos, tuna tiradito, salmon sliders, lobster bisque, chicken skewers, cheese burger, and shrimp tempura. Everyone of those dishes are highly recommended. Our server, Trent was very helpful and accommodating.

Great restaurant right in Siesta Key Village. Our waiter Trent was great, helped us decide on our shared meal. The mussels were the star, with the beef short rib second. great food and great service.

We visited The Cottage for drinks and a snack after a long day at Siesta Key Beach! We were hot and the bar temperature was cool. Our food was delicious and our drinks were cold and hit the spot. My wife had a watermelon, jalapeño margarita that was wonderful! Don't pass up The Cottage if you are in this area!

We found The Cottage on our last trip to Siesta Key and could not wait to return. The cottage is great for families, couples or anyone who wants really good food. We loved ordering from the tapas/starters menu. It gave us an opportunity to taste a wide variety of items. We started with a Moscow Mule in a signature copper... More

Although it was rainy, the atmosphere was fun and relaxing. We started with drinks and they don't hold back on the alcohol. Then we had their mixed ceviche which was the best I've ever had. So delicious. After came the lobster roll and the grouper sandwich. I had a small bite of the battered grouper and it was really hot... More

Had tapas and drinks on a rainy afternoon. The service was outstanding - Coleen was our server. The food is good and the drinks were very good - the place is pricey in comparison. Do we recommend it? Yes!
