We saw this venue on trip adviser and realised that we were staying just down the road from it. We would have missed it as it's in a small plaza of shops and a couple of restaurants so having looked at the extensive menu we tried it On entering we found a welcome greeting shown to a table and ordered... I would recommend Javier's to anyone in the area. The food was fabulous and the Peruvian beer was good too! Friendly service and cute atmosphere. All around winner!

So nice to go to a restaurant that has a few different things on the menu. We had four small plates between two of us, cherizzo with yuka frites, baby squid, ceviche and scallops topped with Parmesan cheese. We also had our first bottle of Peruvian red wine, which was delicious. The yuka frites tasted a bit like sweet potatoes... More

We have been to Siesta Key three times now and each time we have gone to Javier’s. This is our favorite restaurant on the island. The food is great. We have a four year old daughter who also loves this place; I think it is because she gets to practice her Spanish with Javier.

If you fancy something different try Javier's Peruvian American cuisine. The restaurant is really homely and the menu varied and different. We had a 4 course tapas dinner but the portions were generous and there were 5 choices on appetizer and entree course. Javier is on hand himself to welcome you. Recommended

We have been going here each year down here on vacation, since it was in the Surfrider (long gone) 20 years ago and we still enjoy the food. Try at least one peruvian dish. Their seafood is great!! Also, get online and check their specials as you can always get 15% off and even 20% off if you are seated... More

I would have given 5 stars but some items were lacking. The Ceviche was not great, needed more juice/sauce something. The sangria is good as is the fried Yucca and ceasar salad, maybe best I ever had!The corn kernals are good, like south american popcorn. We had the sampler which was good but we really liked the fish sampler better.... More

We visited Javier's for the first time this past weekend while spending the weekend at The Capri. We were greeted with smiles, and a friendly staff. My husband ordered two appetizers Chorizo a la Parilla and Tuna Tiradito, while I ordered the Calamares Salteados. All the three appetizers were wonderful. I especially enjoyed the calamari, which were flash sauteed, with... More

If you can only go for dessert, make sure you get the Bananas Foster! Amazing! They make it right on! Their homemade Sangria is also very tastey! The staff is very friendly and pleasant. Restaurant is a small place, great for date night!

I will start with the good things: Clean, Pleasant area, wonderful wall painting banner, waiters are good. The cuzquena bear was chilling and cold. Bread good. Presentation of the plates are good. Bad thinks: They don't have peruvian corn ( canchita serrana). Ceviche is really bad because the fish was overcooked with lemon. No choclo.Really small portions. We order jalea... More
