Great location, average meal

The location of this place is nice as it sits right on the bay. We sat outside and enjoyed watching the fish jump out of the water. Our service was really bad and our meal was only average. Maybe more of a place to come for drinks and dessert?

We ate here several times in our 2 week stay, and I would have to say my favorite is the stuffed flounder! Right now they are running a 30th anniversary special, your choice of several dinners, includes your main dish, "starch"(potato) and veggie of the day. Also a carafe of wine all for 19.99. Excellent meal! Ask to sit out... More

During driving tour of the island while staying on Siesta Key we saw Turtles and decided to give it a try. It is at the far southern end of the island, far from SK village and most tourists. Got there before 6 for early bird special. Place was full of locals and older folks as well as families so we... More

My husband and I arrived for a early dinner. We were the only people in the restaurant. That should of been a big red flag warning us to run the other way. We ordered a ahi tuna appetizer. The tuna was old and tasted fishy....glad we sent that back. So sad, I love ahi tuna, but that was scary. I... More

Nice location but the food was not good. The food served was very average. I ordered seafood which was all battered. There were no sauces served with it making the meal very dry. The batter too was tasteless. Waiting staff were pleasant enough but did not ask if we enjoyed our meal..i wonder why!!

We were drawn to visit this establishment because we read about their specials. Whereas the prices were reasonable, we found the portions to be on the small size. The service was attentive and friendly. The views were very nice.

Seems to have lost it's mojo. Maybe our expectations were set too high. Nice setting and view as it sits on the water of the ICW. My wife enjoyed her Filet & Shrimp ($23) and I had Scallops ($20) that had a very good taste but was underwhelmed by the tasteless vegetable of the day. Serving size of the Scallops... More

Great food and location on the intercoastal waterway. Large outside eating area. Great food, with some fantastic dishes, and unbelievable early bird specials before 6 pm. Wait staff informative and friendly, and attentive. Great Sunday brunch too!

We had an amazing lunch here. Service was excellent. We never went thirsty, but weren't pestered. We started with the calamari and coconut shrimp. Both were excellent. Perfectly cooked. I had the snapper almondine. It was so good. The veg and potatoes were so flavorful. My husband had the fried seafood combo. It was all cooked just right. He loved... More
