Great view

Great view, but our dinner was disappointing. We had a long wait for a table and there were no seats available at the bar for Happy Hour, however we were able to order drinks and stand in a corner. Once we were seated the service was slow and our meals just average. We decided to have a drink... read more

Our local friend recommended Turtles Restaurant, and we were not disappointed. They have a wide range of dishes to choose from, and the view was great. We got there early--5:30--and were able to get an outside table on the deck. This made our visit! by the time we left, the restaurant was crowded, with a line waiting. Inside was noisy,... More

It took a while, but we had a good dinner at Turtles on Little Sarasota Bay. Service was remarkably slow, but the food was good, the waterfront location amazing and the value impressive. Everyone had some form of fried seafood and loved their meal! We were late to pick up kids on Siesta Key (slow service), but we enjoyed our... More

We go every year to Turtles and just love the food and the view. I usually get the lobster / beef entree and I have never been disappointed. Another family member orders shrimp ( when he doesn't order lobster) and loves the huge serving as well as flavor. If you go make sure you get a bay view otherwise you... More

We celebrated St Patrick's evening here. The green Bud beer was pleasing. The combo of fish, shrimp and scallops with fries was tasty except the fish was mushy and flat tasting. Other fish special dinners were quite good.

Sunday brunch offers a good variety of quality food for under $10. It includes a mimosa or Bloody Mary. Hours are 10-3. If you go on a hot day you may want to opt for an inside table with a view since it can get hot in places on the deck. Check with the hostess before you declare yor preference.... More

This is a nice place to eat dinner. If the weather is nice, you can eat outside. Service was good, not great

Once more Turtles 'fell' to the occasion. St. Pats evening; simple drink and dinner, what could go wrong. With half the restaurant empty, we were given the call box and waited for our call. After 20 min. we went to the desk and they said, oh we can seat you immediately! Really, thats nice. We ordered immediately; the special of... More

Had a great dinner at Turtles. Entrees were around $13 - $14, service good and food was delicious. We sat overlooking the bay and it was a great evening.

We ate lunch at Turtle's this vacation. My wife really likes the atmosphere and view while able to sit at the rear deck area. I had the fried grouper sandwich which was very good. The service was good as well as the weather so it was a nice visit. One thing to watch is your bill if you are dining... More
