Fun place

This is a classic Florida beach style bar. Siesta key is one of the few places in Florida I actually enjoy. So to find this place was a plus. The food is good bar food but the atmosphere is totally fun. And the gelato store down the street rounds it out.

We are regulars to visit Siesta Key on vacation. SKOB is the choice for dinner and drinks at least a couple nights. SKOB has very good food at reasonable prices. Plus it is a fun place with some decent music. A little of the key west feel as well.

Great food, outdoor patio, across from our hotel - just ideal. Recommended by our hotel clerk - always trust the locals, right? Only complaint was that our waitress carried herself like her dog got ran over or had a break-up, simply miserable and dragged herself around, occasionally popping back in to see if we were done. But...can't rain on my... More

This is the place to come if you are looking to recharge out of the sun, and grab a cold drink and great pub food. For me, a few hours on the beach followed by a visit to SKOB is a great afternoon. Don't miss the blackened shrimp and cheese grits!

SKOB is a fun place to dine outside with local musicians playing regularly. The food is average, but a great place to people watch. My husband has the caesar salad with blackened mahi every time we go. A fun place to go for a casual meal!

White sangria was advertised as fresh fruit but was clearly a mix, too tart. Mahi fish tacos were good and seafood flat bread was ok.

SKOB is a must when visiting SK. Last year I had to write negative about the oysters. Kudos to the ownership for contacting me and making it right this year - they were A-W-E-S-O-M-E! So large, plump and juicy. We ate here twice it was so great. Fish tacos are amazing, service was great and the atmosphere is just so... More

First impression not great due to snarky hostess, seemly unaware she's in service industry. Waiters made up for it with hustle and cheer. Solid margarita on the rocks. Otherwise food is uninspired replica of beach fare. We did line the musical entertainer.

A "happening place". A dozen oysters on ice for $7 during happy hour while enjoying the scene says it all.

Oysters at Happy Hours are the size of quarters, the shell. I'm sure the better ones come out at night when the place gets live music, full of guests, and really comes alive. The shrimp tacos are very good and have a great white sauce. Great beach dive bar.
