Good Mexican food, good service, good atmosphere, expected prices. I have been many times and never disappointed. The restaurant sits on Lake Jackson and does have outdoor dining on the patio facing the lake. There is a bar. We have been going to DON JOSE'S for over a year. They treat us like family ,"GOOD FAMILY". The Margaritas are the best , and if you order in the bar hey are 2 for one . $5.00. Our second visit to Don Jose and it wont be our last. Superb food and very good service made for an excellent experience. The decor and atmosphere put you in the mood to relax and enjoy before you even walk through the beautiful front doors. The menu provides variety from basic tacos to sophisticated steak and seafood specialities, all with a Mexican flair. The service is prompt and unobtrusive. A great night out. more

Let me say the service was wonderful. DON JOSE came to oir table a,d ask us if evrything was all right. I told him it was great, couldn't be any better.
