Stopped in for lunch. Seated right away in the back dock area looking over at the water. We observed some Flying fish, Gulls, Pelicans, and a couple smaller birds floating about looking for a freebie..LOL nice to pass the time until food came, Service was good. Did not take long for our orders to go in and come out. We... More

It's always fun to visit Cap Hiram's!! Get to eat with you feet in the sand, watching the waterlife, including the charter coming in with their catch. Busy place!!! We were well served - but were there a little early (in the light before sunset). Check out the restrooms!! Next time I'll take photo of sink!! They have everything since... More

Big place, around for a long time. Food seemed more industrial than fresh. Lots of salt. Great views, right on the beach and marina. Service kind of slow. Hardly anybody in the place for lunch, five minutes for a beer?

My husband and I decided to try Hirams for breakfast this time around.....and we were very pleased ! I had the Crab Cake Benedict, and it was to die for ! Service was excellent, prompt, curtious, efficient and with a smile ! (Love THAT !) We were sitting outside on the patio, and were able to watch dolphins play around... More

Capt. Hirams is a resort with lot of charisma !!! On the Indian River Lagoon , the marina , the music , the gift shop and very good seafood . Not that you would but don't order Italian .... The food is not in large portions and a little pricey ... very good clam chowda ! ( white ) ...... More

I went back again here a few days ago and it's still a nice place to gather informally. The seafood is very good - crispy calamari, crab stuffed flounder filet, etc. Sit by the water and enjoy the sun or the catfish at night. The service is a bit lacking at times, but it's a very laid back area. Great... More

Let's start off with service, I mean lack of. Roxy was the person designated to take care of us, well we saw her twice once when she took our order and when she finally delivered our check. We had to interupt other employees to obtain bread and refills on our beverages.Conch Chowder was good and my Mahi dinner was average... More

The sandbar is a great place for friends and family to gather and is a kid friendly enviroment. Our last visit took place on a Friday night. If you are planning to eat dinner here you may want to do it a little ealier if you are planning to have converstaion as the main band starts around 8 and it... More

Used to be good . Over last year quality of food has gone down. Service has never been great but again even this has gone down hill. Servers just do not make you feel welcomed. I am a Captain Hiram's Reward member and I will not be going back.
