Eggselent Breakfast and value

The same menu is being used as JP Matty's and the food is still excellent. I had the Hungry Man Breakfast - 3 basted eggs, 2 bacon, 1 delicious fat sausage link hash browns...it doesn't stop there...toast and country sausage gravy on a biscuit. All for only $7! The eggs were cooked perfectly and... read more

Our favorite place for an occasional breakfast out, but like their sandwiches too. The change from JP Mattes to Cafe Paradise was smooth with the main difference being the decor. Menu stayed the same and service is still good.

Been here twice. First time was just so so.Second time was three hours of terrible service (not entirely the waitresses fault), so so food and crowded by over 70 crowd with the worst singer (over 70 herself) in the lobby as we waited. I heard that breakfast is good, but I will never know since I will never return.

Had a bad experience after restaurant was sold, so today, thought I'd give it another try. I ordered a Belgian waffle with berries, what a disappointment, waffle was so overdone that it was like eating a crispy cookie, ;( berries were good. When I told Val, my waitress, she offered to get me something else, but I declined. (my mistake).... More

I stopped in for breakfast on Sunday, parking lot was filled , but was able to be seated at counter immediately. This place is a family run business and it cheerfully feels that way. Food was fantastic, and service was friendly. Highly recommend

Cafe in Paradise is the former popular JP Matty's restaurant. The food and service are much the same as with JP Matty's but the restaurant is brighter with pink and pastel colors. The staff wear aqua or salmon. The new owners are polite and friendly. They are from Cape May, New Jersey. Seems they have plenty of restaurant experience too.... More

Great for breakfast and lunch. The new owners have kept the same staff along with the quality and great tasting food.

Came here because I thought previous reviews started that the corned beef hash was homemade. I ordered it with 2 poached eggs for 6.95. I waited a long time for my food. I was alone but a table with 4 business men are seated after me, ordered after me and got there entire breakfast well before mine. When mine finally... More

JP Matty's is being transformed to the Cafe Paradise, gradually. Most of the servers are the same. But this week I noticed the former black JP Matty t-shirts have been replaced by coral and teal polo shirts. The place mats are also a teal color. Former owner Peterman's beautiful photography has been replaced with large beach murals and overall--the new... More

Went to JP Matty's before and after the change if owners. Food was good before the change and stlll good. But, the servers are the same and that's what turned me off from the start. What I see is if your not a very regular customer, you get the Snub, that I'm doing you a favor by being your server.... More
