Everything about our trip to the V was unpleasant. The staff was not friendly, the bar and dining room chairs were uncomfortable, and the food was too heavily sauced and overcooked.

We ate outside on the patio and were literally overrun by gnats. The waiter disappeared after taking our order and left us to the assistant waiter who at least attempted to concoct a citronella candle. I'm from Louisiana where gnats are common however this was ridiculous. In our wine glasses, in the bottle, in the salad. When we mentioned it,... More

First time at this relatively new restaurant in Seaside area. We dined outdoors with a pretty view of the gulf. Restaurant is new and very contemporary and attractive. The service beginning with check in, through the wait staff was outstanding, very knowledgeable and friendly. The food was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in fine dining in... More

We only had cocktails, but they were excellent (happy hour) and the upscale but un-pretentious atmosphere was very inviting.

To be fair... the food was decent, but the experience was miserable. We look forward to visiting our usual 30a eateries several times throughout the year, but this trip we finally bit the bullet and decided to give V a try. BAD DECISION! The arrogance of most of the staff was overwhelming. Our Tiger Woods doppelgänger head waiter some how... More

We had a party of 8 and were able to get seated within 10 min on a busy Tuesday evening. We went during the 5:00-6:00 hour when they offer selected entrees for 1/2 price. We had wonderful wine and cocktails, and the shrimp and grits entrees. The food was beautifully presented and tastes amazing. The kitchen is open, and the... More

Upon arrival we requested and received window seating..so the veiw was nice ! Our server (Chris) was very informative and helpful ! He explained the menu and offered helpful suggestions. The menu is very good..with local seafood and vegatables being featured. The gumbo was delicious..as was the snapper. The shrimp and grits was very tasty..but I have to admit the cornbread... More

Andy and Steven our servers did an excellent job of explaining the menu, answered out questions and offered suggestions. Our selections were the Poached Grouper and the Whole Fish, both were really beyond expectations, delicate, flavorful and above all very savory. We happened in during the 1/2 price time and were thrilled to have such a great meal for the... More

By chance we stopped at V to eat. We caught their half price entree hour (5-6pm) and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We all ordered seafood which was very fresh and prepared with a New Orleans flair to it. The atmoshphere was upbeat and although both times they were busy we had good service with other... More

Tried this spot a few times. For cocktails & apps, for brunch, for dinner. Unfortunately haven't had a good meal - don't like the food and think the menu could be reworked or something. Dressings are heavy, food not as fresh as one would expect from such a fancy spot. Service is spotty. Atmosphere is pretty, bar area is good... More
