Okay so we stopped at this place on our way back from SKOB to 3.14 Pi to catch a football game. Gilligan's is a pretty large establishment with at least two bars. It's a cool place, a little dark in the back part of the bar, and a palpable island theme. Lots of Hawaiian shirts on both sides of the... More

I would not recommend eating here unless you are looking for bar food to soak up the alcohol you've been drinking. It's a very young crowd, mostly 20's and 30's who are looking to spend the evening getting drunk. The service was very bad. Our waitress never came to our table, so the hostess actually felt bad for us and... More

We really enjoyed our meal here. If you go, be sure and ask for a seat out back. It's like a little tropical retreat. We weren't quite sure before we arrived. It's looks like a very touristy spot and we were afraid the meal would not like up to the ambiance and decor. We were really surprised, the meal was... More

Clearly a loyal local following. Staff and patrons are more like family than workers and customers. The Sat matinees with Pete's acoustic trio ( which is always more than a trio) are great jams with some very some of Sarasota's most talented musicians....all ages. If you like music in a film light atmosphere with solid pub food this is a... More

Great happy hour specials (11-7) for cheap pitchers and more. Great place to relax after a long (or short) day at the beach. Food is pretty good too and the servers are mostly friendly. Walking distance from the beach right in the village

The casual, thatched roof patio and deck are perfect for enjoying a cold drink and watching the people walk by. Typical pub food, so don't expect too much, but you won't find a better compliment to a cold beer than their fried pickles and nachos. Sunday Fundays are the best - steel drums or similar low-key live entertainment complete the... More

If you're over 30 STAY away from this place. Last time I was there, it was a free for all for any youngster with their fake IDs. I much prefer a nice dinner to drunken kids being stupid in a bar.

Looked at going to this place for dinner but ended up just having drinks. Definitely more of a place for drinking but they do do food. Great atmosphere though and well deccorated island feel. Would go back for drinks again. Happy Hour is the best time to go

We first asked for the best waiter and if that is what we got we sure didn't feel like it. He was very slow and I dont know how long we sat there before we got to order our meal. The chips and queso was very good, i loved it! My boyfriend got the chicken strips and fries, fries were... More

We recently held a rehearsal dinner at Gilligan's Island. Jennifer and Scott the owners were awesome to accomodate our requests. Marshall & Jessica were our servers and they did an outstanding job! We went back several times throughout our stay. Their live entertainment, happy hours and food were what I consider the best in Siesta Key.
