Walking into Millie's you feel like you step back in time a bit but it's actually quite pleasant. The decor is more antique (almost felt like a tea room). The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was solid. We ordered the Country Breakfast and the portions were very generous. Also moderately priced.

6 of us appeared to celebrate one of us who was having a 90th birthday. We were given a table by a large window, a delightful waitress named Judy and all the service you could hope for...flavored cream with our very good coffee and food like mother would make if mother was a good cook..Have been here before and never... Very pleased with the food, prices and portions. Waitress wasn't overly nice but was efficient. Our kids went in hungry but left stuffed...they are bottomless pits and had plenty to eat. My wife ordered a Reuben and fries for lunch and was very pleased. I had the special (Italian sausage omelette with home fries) and couldn't eat it all. Would... More

Stopped here on our way home. Great breakfast and the service wonderful. Will eat here again when we are in the area.

I should have known. Walking up I could tell it was one of those fancy tea-type places for very elderly women. But hey, don't judge a book by the cover, right? The place was packed so I was hopeful it would be worth the wait. Unfortunately it was not. The lady who waited on us was rude to the point... More

The chocolate chip pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, apple pancakes, lox, English muffin, and chocolate milk were all great. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are moderate. They are only open till 2:00. Would definitely return. A plus is they share the daily paper with customers!

There are many, many good breakfast spots in Sarasota. This one is pretty good, but well off my usual beaten track.

Deelishis! Large slices of fresh challah bread stuffed with cream cheese and apricot jam dipped in an egg batter and lightly toasted to perfection. A must have breakfast item at Millies. Swedish crepes with lingonberries awesome. Cottage cheese pancakes yummy.

We always go to Millie's at least once every time we're in Sarasota. I've had many items on their breakfast menu and all were delicious. My daughter loves the German Apple pancake but there is a twenty minute wait for it (which is clearly disclosed on the menu).

We were looking for a good place for breakfast and Millie's was suggested to us a few years ago. Located in a long strip mall on busy Clark Road in Sarasota, with a sprawling parking lot in the front and a Sunoco gas station across the street, Millie's didn't look like one of the best breakfast/lunch restaurants in town. But... More
