How this place survives is beyond me. Second time back after a five year lapse. Rolls are stale, featured lobster ravioli rubbery and drowned in a pool of reddish gravy. A fishy taste in the ravioli but not lobster. The whole experience makes me want to swear off Italian food forever.

We really enjoyed our dinner of homemade ravioli and veal pizziola here. The food was so fresh and delicious and we will definitely return to try more meals. The service was wonderful with a great atmosphere for both indoor and outdoor seating. This is the best Italian on St. Armand's Circle and we would recommend you try it when visiting~

We went wanting a good Italian meal, lots of rich tomato sauce, garlic and onion flavours to the fore. Alas we chose the wrong Italian there was no homely, comforting Italian cooking aroma to the place. The starter of Caesar salad was not great, the salad is not prepared at your table and the Parmesan is shavings and not grated... More

We went to this restaurant for dinner. It was great. We felt like we were in at an Italian family run, owned and operated restaurant. Great service. Very informal. Interesting decour. We had a penne sorrento, pollo rusticano, pizza and Pinot noir. All in bill was 128. The food was great and reasonably priced.

This is our favorite restaurant while strolling St. Armand's Circle. It is peaceful, the staff cares, and the food is good. We really enjoy sitting our on the "balcony", watching the people go by.

Three of us had a light lunch there. Seafood salad. While it was decent tasting, at over $14.00, medium sized shrimp and just not much seafood - nice enough dressing on it. Not wanting to add a negative feeling, I still felt compelled to quietly mention that the rolls were stale - I indicated waiter didn't have to bring another... More

Came on a Monday in February. It was right after the Lido Key sunset, so it was busy and the service was a little slow. But the food was wonderful including the 2 veal dishes we ordered. The wine list includes lots of excellent Italian wines by the glass. And the espresso is Lavazza! What more could you ask?

Found La Colonne by accident, in time for a late lunch. Nice outdoor dining, and our waiter took great effort to adjust the overhead umbrellas to give us the best shade on a sunny day. My wife had the white bean and tuna salad, and when she expressed surprise that there was no greenery in the salad, the waiter promptly,... More
