Food was good enough, slow service

We ate here for dinner on a weeknight around 6 p.m. In some areas of the restaurant you can look out on the street, which is nice. The food was good enough but nothing to write home about; I've had better Mexican food. I had enchiladas verdes which were ok, my husband had a plate with three... read more

Located in the heart of Sarasota's food district on Main Street. The restaurant appears to cater to a young crowd. It is loud, music blaring, people shouting. Not exactly conducive to dining. The food was at best ,so so. The service was awful. One plate was sent back and took 40 minutes to replace. Not even an apology. Asked for... More

What this place does well is to break the eyes up with non-linear architecture And add appeal with the decor. My kids loved the large bull on the tables right in the front/center of the restaurant. My brother loves margaritas but ordered only one. He's picky and often wants top shelf liquor. So this tells me they are averageat best... More

Decided to take a night off of upscale food and walked in off the street. Walked in the bar to check it out. Jeff was our server and he was awesome! He was fairly new but he was honest and gave us great suggestions. We sat in the bar, had a few drinks and decided to eat dinner while watching... More

Food is good, we've always enjoyed going but on our last visit we were a bit concerned by the lack of cleanliness everywhere. We made mention of this to the manager and were told that she was new but was aware of the need to spruce the place up significantly. We will return to see if this has taken place!

the food was very ordinary. The margaritas were made with a mix so if you are a margarita lover the way they make them just doesn't make it. We all ordered combination plates and all thought they were good but not memorable. We would go back for the great ambience!

Horrible experience. Our waitress greeted us with "want a drink?". No introduction and we didn't even get her name. This was the first thing that turned me off. It took about 10-15 minutes for her to come back with our water. I had lettuce floating in my drink but couldn't find our server to tell her. Finally, we ordered our... More

As full-time residents we have given this restaurant many chances, yet it always disappoints. Too bad with such a wonderful location and building. Go to a Mi Pueblo instead. We are so tired of the low class service and the no taste food.

We stopped here for lunch on our way through Sarasota. The restaurant has good ambiance and is heavily themed. The food was good. We had the tortilla soup and the black bean soup which were both good. Good experience. We had asked for Michelada (not on the menu) and the server told us they were able to make them well.... More

Downtown for a show at Sarasota Arts Center and a gallery exhibit and with a crowd at a sidewalk arts fair, we were looking for a quick bite .Big mistake. 3pm, a slow time with few patrons. 2 or 3 servers ? 1 bartender? Expecting faster service at the bar, we waited for 45 minutes for a couple of tasteless... More
