An over priced dining experience you'd rather forget. Do yourself a favor and go to the Bijou or Selva for dinner and stop by here for an after dinner drink and for the best piano man in town. The food just doesn't make sense, the combinations of textures and flavors make you feel as though you are eating a lab... more

We have been to Michael's on East many times because we live not far from the place. I'll go through the good, bad and the ugly. It is so overpriced, I'd hate to see someone waste a good amount at this place, especially in this economy when going out to eat becomes more and more of a luxury for everyone.... more

We dined at Michael's on East for Valentine's Day. We were doing our annual winter trip to Sarasota & had heard so many good things about Michael's, plus had sampled the food at various charity events, so we made reservations for what we expected to be a delightful, romantic dinner. Our experience last evening was terrific. The waiter was informed, involved and not trying to oversell anything. We were seated at our reservation time and not left to linger in the bar.
