I've eaten at Alpine Steak House numerous times as well as buying steaks there for special occasions. I would buy all my meat there because the quality is great (although no grass fed yet...) but I live too far away. This place offers great value and terrific food, especially the reuben sandwich, which, because of the GREAT corned beef they... more

I tried this location after it was listed on tv. The turducken was too huge for me. The take out service was odd with a wait before I got to place an order at lunch time - not a lot of customers. There is eat in,. take out and a deli which had wonderful corned beef and a selection of... more

Being an 'Alpine' 'Steakhouse' one would figure eating European food would be a good idea to try here---well NO WAY! The quality was poor. The prices too high. Really 2 German sausages and some kraut for $16???? The only person who ordered a steak at our table was the only one who got what she paid for....won't ever eat here... more

Great food, the place looked a little shady, but I've been wanting to try the place.Once i entered the restaurant, it's exactly as i expected, a diner style atmosphere. price is reasonable for the food that was served, I did not try the turducken, but had a piece of steak, it is a steakhouse after all! we also shared a... more

These folks try to appear like they are some European great eatery, while they have no clue what even a Wiener Schnitzel looks like much less how t6o prepare one. Then their prices are so elevated, it is a miracle that they are still in business. more

This restaurant did not pass my number one criterion: Would I go back? No. The Turducken was pretty good for a $12-$13 dish, but it cost $20 and all three in our party who ordered agreed that they wouldn’t order it again. But there were service problems too and it’s not air conditioned. Or at least the A/C wasn’t working... more

Split the Turduken for lunch. There was more than enough for the two of us. Real mashed potatoes, the gravy is terrific, definitely homemade, sweet cranberry sauce. Have the hot apple strudel for dessert, the crust is so flaky it's incredible! The deli is impressive, can't find much better even in Chicago. If you're into beer, looks like about 30... more

We were on vacation from South Dakota and we heard about this place on Food Network. The mushroom soup was the best. We each ordered the turducken and it was very good. It came with mashed potatoes/gravy that was hot and tasty. Each meal cost $18.00, but it was a LOT of food. This was a meal for the big... more

Should of walked out of here as soon as we walked in. The place is dark, old, dirty, and sad looking. The meat counter was creepy in apearance and what was in it. So after all that we still decided to stay and eat. Had the soups of the day, The " o so famous turduken, salads, and the bbq... more

September 2007 We have eaten at the Alpine Steakhouse for as long as I can remember when we visit on vacation. This time we sat in and had the fillet one night and was as impressed as every. The place is great and being able to look at what is for sale in the shop is wonderful as well. We... more
