Even when we have been back home for a time the welcome we get from the Caragiulo brothers and Rashid our usual waiter is great. The house salad which is the"best dressed" in Sarasota, and the rest of the food is always consistently good. We see the same faces dining here which tells you how highly many rate this restaurant.... More

Dinner for 5 on a busy Friday night. The manager gave us two glasses of wine to sample to aid us in our wine selection. The Sangiovese beat out the Primitivo. House salad is tasty with a house made vinaigrette and olives. One diner had the knife and fork scampi and declared it to be delicious. Two had linguine with... More

We are always welcomed so warmly by Rob, one of the brothers, when we return for the fall/winter. And once again we had the delicious pate, crisp/cold Caesar salads and pasta dishes that are right on the mark for great ingredients and care for presentation. We just feel like we are returning "home" to a favorite dining room. I know... More

I have been eating here for 16 years now, a few years ago I was in once a week. I see the Caragiulo brothers at the front, they in 16 years don't say hello, ask who you are or ever ever say thank you for coming in. With that said I have found other dining options right up the street... More

Four of us went to Caragiulos Italian Restaurant for a great evening of dining and fun. The service was great and the food delicious. The homemade bread was delectable and never-ending. We had their house salad, and the entrees included Lasagne, Spaghetti and Meatballs, and Rigatoni Basilico. They were all delectable. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauces were... More

The bread is very good, however the meal I ordered was full of oil and the pasta had hardened up. When I told the waitress she didn't even apologize. The pasta they serve for the children are spicy along with the meatballs! The service is very slow. This place is way overrated! I won't be eating here again.

The only pizza I will get in the Sarasota area. The wild mushroom with a little hot pepper and you are in pizza heaven. Enjoy!

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Sarasota. A wonderful family restaurant with excellent food, very friendly staff, and a wonderful menu. We enjoy the outside dining and have introduced many of our out of town guests to Caragiuos, and they are always complimentary of the food and of the evening.

Caragiulo's is a dependably consistent Italian Restaurant with really great marinara sause. Their service is excellent, and the atmosphere is very pleasing. It's an example of a restaurant that has maintained its fine reputation without trying to make a lot of money by franchising.

Whether for a business lunch in a hurry or a more relaxed family dinner, the Caragiulo family has a knack for everything from pepperoni pizza and soup or salad at lunch to a full course dinner, artfully prepared and delivered with a smile. If you're in a hurry, eat at the bar. If your preference is for thin crust pizza,... More
