Flaming Cheese!!!

A great little restaurant. The flaming saganaki appetizer was excellent, as was the lamb. The greek chicken soup was also worth mentioning, although i expected orzo in it it still had perfect lemony chicken flavor. And honestly, the absence of pasta left room for other goodies. Good service... read more

We were at El Greco in April with a party of 7. Our family absolutely loved all the food and the atmosphere,we all had different choices,The Dolmades were the best we have ever had.The Lamb stew was superb, the Gyro are so good, and we had their rice pudding, yum. Can't wait to go again.

While strolling downtown we stopped for dinner. We had delicious salads and gyros. Very authentic and very tasty food.

Im not crazy about this place, first off its dirty and when dining outside the homeless people make for a challenging experience. Second the foor is merely mediocre. I will say the Gyro plate was good. In all I would say that I wont return unless someone I care about wants to go. There are so many better palces to... More

Wife & I stop in often for lunch usually having a salad. They are always fresh...the chicken salad addition to the salad is very good ..the gyro salad is excellent. Our latest visit was for dinner..grilled mahi was very good and the tilapia was excellent. We would order both again. And the service was prompt, attentive and quick.

If you are a fan of Mediterranean cuisine, and you happen to be in Sarasota, Florida, this is the place that you must visit. Your taste buds will make you feel like you are in Greece, but your wallet will thank you for not spending all those dollars on an airplane ticket. The way I see it, you have more... More

May not be a fancy restaurant but the food is so delicious. We crave their food and go once every week. The prices are reasonable and I bet you will go back often.

Friends of ours recommended us joining j them for dinner here. We made reservations which were not needed but we went early so I suppose during the rush maybe would be needed. We went 8 open minded and walked into a very nice peaceful setting. Located right off main st in sarasota was perfect. With windows all around we had... More

We began our meal with saganaki. I must admit it was just OK. My husband ordered the grilled calamari which he dearly loves and was very pleased. It is not offered in very many restaurants so finding it on the menu was a pleasant surprise. My meal of moussaka was delicious and plentiful. Our waitress, Kristen, was fabulous and took... More
