I have visited Cha Cha's several times over the last few years when I vacation on Lido Beach. They often have live music which gives it a good atmosphere, but we like to sit at the outside tables to watch what is going on. When I went to CHA CHA coconuts in sarasota I have to say the food was quite good. I had a baja fish taco and It taseted good!! It was crowded In the restaurant and a fancy spanish restaurant was right beside it. Good service and a good singer (comes there occasionly not always) more

It's amazing how Cha Cha Coconuts- (which the atmosphere will remind you of a TGI Fridays) is owned by the Columbia restaurant next door and has better food. SURPRISE! We enjoyed everything. The atmosphere is very casual and has a very island bar feel to it. My daughter bought a pirate's head carved out of a coconut if that gives you and idea of the flavor of the place. We went on a Sunday afternoon, around 12:30. There was no wait and were were able to grab a table inside. Most restaurants in the area are overpriced, but this one was reasonable. We came in, got two cocktails, chips and salsa and two servings of the fabulous Beans and Rice. We were under $30 with tip. Worth going again.... more
