Nice lunch spot!

We went with friends for a quick lunch on the way to the airport. Service was reasonably quick, the spot is charming although the tables are very jammed together. Pate sandwich, croque monsieur and two baguette sandwiches -- all were tasty. Pomme frites are okay but nothing specially. The baguettes... read more

We stumbled upon this restaurant in downtown and decided to give it a try. The menu was expansive and we settled on hot sandwiches with a side salad. They were absolutely delicious and the side salad was phenomenal. Their homemade dressing was light and delicious, perfect for the summertime. Everything was fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed.

I love this charming French restaurant in downtown Sarasota! It's almost like a trip to Paris. The inside, where they also have a bakery that produced house-made breads and pastries, there is fantastic art work on the walls.Their sidewalk seating is nice when it isn't too hot out. They have several types of baguette sandwiches, crepes and quiches. My favorite meal... More

this is such a charming little place with wonderful service. there is so much to choose from on the menu and as we all chose different things, each one of us loved our selections. the lyonaisse salad was so delicious, with the crisp bacon and fried potatoes topped with a poached egg. i had it on both of our visits.... This was the 3rd (and last) time my husband and I have eaten here for breakfast when we've visited for the weekend. How soon one forgets - but 3 times you're out and we won't be back. My husband knows a thing or two about french cuisine as he is from there - and even I knew it wasn't up... More

Every time we go to Sarasota, people say we have to go to C'est La Vie for authentic French bread, croissants and more. While they certainly have good food, it doesn't stand out as the best. It's always crowded there, and they don't go out of their way to make you welcome as you wait. We were told to "move... More

When on vacation in the area we always make a stop here for my favorite pastry...the chocolate almond croissant. Don't come expecting awesome customer service, but you will soon forget that once you taste this authentic French pastry! I am never disappointed as these are made perfectly every day. Words just can't describe how delicious they are...you just have to... More

If you crave for French bakery, desserts, or breakfast and if you are in Sarasota downtown, you should pay a visit here in this authentic French bistro. They have many different kinds of delicious croissants (light and fluffy) and fresh/moist little pastry items (don't even remember all the names!). Many items that we tasted were very close to what we... More
