We visited this restaurant with friends who travel to this area frequently and it was their first time as well. There was a short wait but there is so much to look at I. The surrounding area, we did not mind at all. The server was friendly and well informed and the food was delicious. We did not wait long... More

Don't expect Michelin stars, but the food is very good, and served by an especially attentive staff. Take the time to spend time sitting at the bar downstairs for a drink or two, before dining. Avoid eating downstairs. Request a table on the second floor. The only real negative in season is that there are too many young children who... More

This is our favorite place to eat when in sarasota. Everything we have ever eaten here was excellent. Our favorite is the shrimp. If you go on. Friday you can get on their Facebook page and see what the "password" is for the day. If you tell them the password you get a free small appetizer. You can't go wrong... More

I was not even aware TB had a restaurant chain so was glad to experience the thrill of eating there. There was a good choice on the menu; my husband and I both had Filet Mignon which were tender and well presented. The desserts are large so shareable. We were seated right away and the service was excellent. We told... More

If you're looking for an island escape in Sarasota, look no further than Tommy Bahama's. Whenever my wife and I eat here we are instantly whisked away to a secluded island with white sands and the smell of the sea. It's got that distinct charm of old-style Florida with just enough hipness to keep it modern. Bob the bartender is... More

thought their signature chicken breast entrée was overpriced at $27. It was very good but more like a $18 item. But most restaurants in The Circle seemed over priced. Guess needed more wow factor for the chicken. Their cocktails were creative and tasty. I'd go back but would be more careful when choosing items.

Waited about an hour for a table at dinner, so next time we'll make a reservation. We were able to visit some shops in St. Armand's Circle while waiting though which helped pass the time. We lucked out and got the perfect table for two upstairs that looked down into the stairwell where there was a live musician. We started... More

Every year when we come to visit our family for spring break, we always plan a lunch at Tommy Bahamas. The food is fantastic for lunch as is the service and the cool breeze off the ocean. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My title really isn't that fair. It's taken out of context. The truth is EVERY restaurant and shop on St. Armand's Circle is overpriced, simply because of the location. That fact doesn't stop me from visiting the Circle and it's restaurants quite often. The first thing you'll notice about Tommy Bahamas is how pretty it is inside. Actually the first... More

I would not run back here to dine. The food was less than average. They charge so much because of the location. If this place was in Lakewood Ranch, it would have to close. We had 2 apps and one drink and the bill was over $50!!
