When I visited Sarasota my favourite restaurant was Tommy Bahamas. The food was very enjoyable and the service was very good. My favourite choice of food and drink was the rack of ribs and the pink lemonade. The ribs were cooked in a blackcurrant sauce and they were very spicy. The ribs were served with mashed potato and an Asian... More

We ordered fish and chips plus the sanibel chicken. Both were nice meals, not huge portions but ok, although not great value for money. The chicken could have had more sauce with a more distinctive flavour. The asian slaw with the fish was very good, a great twist on normal slaw. The fries could have been fresher but the fish... This is the first time I'd been to the restaurant since the downstairs store moved elsewhere in St. Armand's Circle. The food and service were just a good as I'd remembered. I was meeting friends for dinner, and since we hadn't seen each other in a very long time, we spent a great deal of time talking before we ever... More

The service was impeccable and the food delicious. I would definitely recommend the fish and chips with asian slaw and yucca fries. The fish was so fresh, melted in my mouth. My husband crusted parmesan chicken with herbed cheese, red pepper sauce, mashed cauliflower and chives served with roasted broccolini was also wonderful. We each ordered a dessert (small portion)... We've been going to this restaurant for years, and each year it seems a little less special than the last. Seated in the second floor dining room this time the six of us were squeezed into a table right by the staircase. As we tried to enjoy pre-lunch cocktails -- and then our food -- a linen delivery man came... More

The building and atmosphere is nice, and the staff, too, for that matter. However, the food did not taste that good and was certainly not worth the money. I rarely give a negative review, but although everyone was so kind, the price for the quality of the food is just not worth it.

I was surprised the first time I dined at Tommy Bahamas. I was expecting a mediocre meal typical of touristy restaurants, as Tommy Bahamsa is located in an area frequented by visitors from out of town. I am glad we took a chance; because every entree that our group ordered was delicious. We have returned a number of times for... More

We have been to the Tommy Bahama's in St Armand's a few times and always have found it to be consistently good. Our family of five all had excellent meals. The server, Joe, was very helpful, knowledgable, and very personable. We watched a spectacular sunset on Lido Beach, just a short walk away, then enjoyed our time at Tommy Bahamas
