Laid back, down home atmosphere with huge fish tanks, interesting photography and stuffed fish trophies on the walls, and its own mini fish market. Wished I had access to a stove to whip up some delectable treat. The food was filling, good, but basic, with friendly, good service.

My wife and I arrived around 9pm for dinner last night and the place was mostly empty. I suspect most of the crowd was there for the Early Bird special judging by the other clientele. We each ordered the seafood combo - hers grilled, mine blackened. But first we had a nibble from the very good salad bar - I... More

I'm 53 years old and I love Captain Brian's because it reminds me of the seafood restaurants that my parents took me to as a child. Nothing fancy. Ordinary looking salad bar. Big aquarium in the middle of the restaurant. Tables and chairs look like they came from the shabby chic restaurant supply company. Fresh fish. What else can you... More

The seafood is very fresh. the atmosphere is very noisy and cafeteria-like. The prices are high, but seafood is always expensive.

This place is very deceiving. Super casual to the point of slightly downscale, they nonetheless have the very best fish, at great prices. The fresh-caught salmon is superb, as is the fish chowder. Salad bar is simple, but has herring- an excellent touch!

A friend told us about Captain Brian's so went went for dinner. My wife had the combo platter that consisted of a piece of Grouper, several scallops, shrimp and a crab cake. Everything was very fresh and delicious except for the crab cake. It was mushy and not great. I had their Lobster special $17.95. One can't ruin a good... More

Nothing fancy....but from the moment you step onto Capt Brian's you just know a great seafood meal is coming. We first visited the market and "eyeballed" all the varieties of fish...then it was easy to decide our meal. All the fish is fresh....and prepared blackened, broiled, or fried. And cooked to perfection. From time to time...look for the 2 pound... More

Nothing fancy, but good food and excellent service for a very reasonable price. The crab cakes were excellent -- almost no filler and lightly seasoned, so the crab is really the star. The cobia (which I had grilled) was delicious and the sauteed spinach was fresh and not over-cooked. Easy to find, right next to the airport. Nice, relaxed visit.... More

Just had to go to Captain Brian's. Called in ahead and asked about the whole bellied New England clams and their size. They said they were running small and sweet. They were absolutely right. Great portion came with wedge fried potatoes and their sweet fresh coleslaw. Lunch price was $11.95 but that changes with each shipment depending on the market... More

I love, love their fried oysters, fried clams and love the broiled scallops! All type of fish n' seafood is cooked n' prepared just right,...this is a seafood haven! There is not a lot of space, however, I have never been disappointed at this little place.
