We didn't expect a whole lot from an Amish restaurant. Just some home-cooked deliciousness to counter all the chain-restaurant fare we've been eating lately. Certainly "homey", the restaurant is nothing to write home about. The wait staff was friendly. The menu is like the food . . . basic. We were very disappointed with our recent meal (July 2007) at Yoder's. All the guidebooks rave, but we experienced something quite different. First we are foodies and know a good homecooked meal when we have one. Yoder's is blending instant mashed potatoes to extend the real and you can easily taste the two -- it is gross.
