You have to visit this place if you come into town. Awesome Amish cooking! Just very simple, hearty food that will clog your arteries. You have to order a cream pie slice to share as well! Peanut butter, chocolate cream pie...it's definitely work of the devil. Get some

I had seen this restaurant on a Food Network program and had always wanted to try it. On a recent trip to Sarasota, FL we drove past and I was reminded of my desire to visit. I was not disappointed. The menu options were plentiful, the service was outstanding and the food was as promised, good home cooking. We tried... More

Yoder's was recommended to us by the clerk at our hotel in Venice. Wow! She was right on the money by telling us about this place! We went on a Saturday and just missed breakfast which ended at 11:00am. Decided to go ahead and order lunch, a reuben and a BLT with turkey and American cheese. My partner said the... More

Ordered turkey manhatton and banana cream pie for take out. I got home was really looking forward to what was dry stringy turkey and Brown banana's in my pie. I have decided not to go back to yoders again...I will drive the extra to go to millers dutch kitchen In bradenton.

Yoder's Restaurant in Sarasota was recommended to my wife and I on a recent trip to the area. It was quite a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is "Amish" and so are parts of the numerous items/choices on the menu. The service was good with the wait staff wearing Amish type apparel. The servings were plentiful. There usually is a wait... More

Home cooking at it's best!! Friendly staff. Little tight quarters but you don't notice once you get your food. We even talked our neighboring tables and compared the great food. Four of us went together and we each had different things to eat. Hot meatloaf sandwich, mashed potatoes and gravy (Manhattan), Hot Turkey Sandwich, (be sure to get the small... More

the food was much better at one time, but a slice of pie is still worth the trip across town. I am a peach pie fan, but my neighbor swears by chocolate peanut butter. One piece is sufficient. I have never bought a whole pie because I would try to eat a whole pie. We tried the pressure fried chicken... More

Dinner at Yoders was a treat. Start with dessert and the biggest piece of egg custard pie I've ever seen. Menu is comprehensive with nightly specials at a reasonable price. I had stuffed cabbage and it was excellent.

This establishment is owned and operated by members of the local Amish community. The atmosphere is relaxed and family friendly, as is the food. I have eaten here many times but breakfast is my favorite meal. The pumpkin pancakes are delicious! The fruit breads are moist and flavorful. The breads, along with their homemade cookies and other goodies can be... More
