Best chicken ever

Whilst on holiday from England recently our bell boy told us to try Yoders while we were in Sarasota. Probably the best advice we were given. The chicken was the best I have ever tasted and the meals are really good value for money. I don't think I have ever seen bigger pies or puddings... read more

It was very busy, lunch, and it was raining outside. There were only 2 of us, so we were lucky enough to be seated quickly. Nice simple foods, like Grandma's house! It was cute inside, but the tables were a bit close and the bathroom isn't for the claustrophobic. An experience in itself...The prices were reasonable too!

Place was packed by the time we left. Constant stream of people. We had fried chicken that was nice and juicy. The seasoning was light on the chicken, but I like it that way anyway. I did not like the Amish noodles, it was mushy, but I wanted to try something different. The mac and cheese was nice too. The... More

Most likely, if you go at dinner time, you will be waiting a a line, but it's worth it. One should always get the special. It's amazing - my favorite is the meat loaf. Much better than Mom's I ate 50 years ago. The fried chicken is the best and a good value - you might even split it with... More

When we moved here we had heard about Yoders. When we went the first time it was a small ranch style building. The line was as out the door, a good sign I thought. Once inside it is a cozy restaurant with very polite and efficient staff. The menu has all the comfort food you can imagine and then the... More

We had about an hour's wait for our party of six. Standing in line does get tiresome with kids, some sort of waiting list would seem to be a good idea. Portions are more than generous, and I think the prices are fair. My fried chicken was good, and freshly fried. It didn't have much seasoning, but was juicy. The cinnamon... More

You can get a good home-cooked meal here, we've been here many times, and gotten take out quite a few times as well. I like their fried chicken, baked chicken and stuffing, and their cabbage rolls. Their fresh bread and desserts are especially delicious, amazing even. You can't go wrong with trying this place. I'd give them 5 stars for... More
