Had a little wait for a table, which is common here. Standing in line inside the restaurant you meet some very nice folks. Once you are seated it takes awhile to look over the extensive menu. They have everything here! Service is excellent and everyone is hustling to please. Servers are very pleasant and wear their custom Amish clothing, including... More

But today our experience was terrible. We were seated quickly but it went downhill from there. We watched as two other tables were seated - then they all ordered and received not only their drinks but their food and we still had not seen a wait person. I finally approached a waitress Nadine and asked if our table had a... More

My wife and I just ate here this evening, needless to say it was terrific. I had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans. The wife ordered fried chicken, fried apples, and corn muffins. Wow, everything was superb! For dessert I had the peanut butter cream pie and wifey had blueberry crumb pie with ice cream. I tried everything on the... More

First, terrible seating! Because they place more tables in the restaurant than they should, I was seated at a table where I had to stand up every time someone in the booth behind me wanted to get in or get out. I stood up three times during my breakfast. Yoders, this is no way to treat customers! Second, I was... More

We really enjoyed our breakfast on Saturday morning - delicious Pumpkin Cream stuffed French Toast! OMG!! It was as good as it sounds. Hubby loved his ham, mushroom and cheese skillet too. Definite must visit when in Sarasota. And they also have a nice little village of shops - gifts, beautiful produce, jams, jellies, deli shop all just yummy!

We had a yummy dinner and delicious pies. With six of us we had quite a variety. We had the fried chicken and sides. Our favorite sides were mashed potatoes, spiced apples and mac and cheese. We then had pumpkin cheese cake, crumb apple pie, strawberry and cream, chocolate creme pie, and hiders key lime. They all were great! If... More

We have tried all of the Amish restaurants in Sarasota. This is by far the best. Friday is their pan fried chicken. If you get the white meat, the breast is the biggest I have ever seen!!! Absolutely delicious. Each day they have specials. Thay have apple butter on each table and serve homemade wholewheat bread. I could make a... More

Coming from Scotland didn't know much about Amish people but if this is how they eat and cook will be moving there. First of all the place looks so inviting fresh fruit and veg market and a gift shop when you pull in to car park they even have a carry out pie and cake service. The bread they served... More

It was a belated-birthday lunch, so dessert was a must. Yoder's is a lovely place, homey and full of smiling faces. I had the veg plate, which is a choice of three or four from their long list of sides. It's fine; nothing special, really, but maybe that's the home-cooking part--you could do it at home if you'd a mind... More
