We heard a lot about this place, so we thought we would try it out. the chicken was very good and the portions were absolutely huge. The veggies and sides are not fresh cooked in my opinion. I am willing to bet that the corn was out of a can and the fried okra came out of a bag. I... More

Thanks for taking the time to share a review... I'm happy to hear that your party enjoyed the fried chicken. I do want let you know, the fresh peach pie is a seasonal pie for us. We only make it during peach season so that it can be made with fresh peaches. We never use canned for our fresh peach... More

After seeing this reviewed on Man vs Food we made it a trip we would do on our honeymoon and I am so glad that we did. Although the whole complex is pretty commercialised now the restaurant was lovely. We got seated promptly by a friendly lady and our drink order was taken as we perused the menu. I had... More

Amish cooking at it's best. The fried chicken is award winning and TV cooking shows go there all the time. Also, yo cannot leave without having a slice of pie, any kind. All natural and baked on site. Don't leave Sarasota without visiting!

I heard about Yoder's many years ago on Paula Deen's show. It was fabulous. I had the fried chicken sandwich and the pecan pie. The service was great. I only wish I could have tried every dessert. I will definitely return on my next visit.

First we went at 4 pm on a Saturday and there was a line, we waited about a half hour. I had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and corn. It was yummy!y daughter had the Mac and cheese and I snuck a few bites. It was also really good. My husband had the chicken fingers which he says were... More

Soup of the day was cream of asparagus and saw no evidence of asparagus in the bowl. It could have been a cup of bland white sauce. The chicken salad sandwich came without lettuce and tomato which was requested when ordered and pictured on the menu. The macaroni and cheese that my grandson ordered had a black hair on top... More

I was completely skeptical, the pies look ooey-gooey-too sweet, but they are not. My gluttonous family ordered 5 or 6 different flavors and types (fruit, cream, custard, crumble top), and all were fantastic, easily the best pie I've had, we gobbled them in heartbeat, except for the custard, which my stepdaughter hoarded for herself the brat. Flavors are distinct, natural,... More

Yoders is a small diner that's never empty. Everything on the menu is ridiculously scrumptious, homemade, and probably not what you want to eat if you're looking to lose weight. Their pies are the best, but there's nothing bad on this menu . . . ever. Sweet, thoughtful service and a family environment is worth the visit whenever you're in... More
